Thank you for this great information. Too many people do not know about contributions Black people made in building our nation. For instance, Benjamin Banneker was part of the 6 person team that designed Washington, D.C. President Washington appointed him making Banneker the first Black person to be appointed by a U.S. President. Banneker was brilliant and It's important for everyone to understand the contributions that people of all stripes have made in building the nation's capitol.
