But the wider view shows the oval shape pretty clearly and it stands out compared to the rest of the west wing. Most Americans probably also think that the blue room is the oval office. Movies usually portray it that way anyway and a trip to Washington D.C. to see the real thing can get pretty costly depending on where you live.

Notice the 2 Oval Offices. The new one in the West Wing. The original which sits in the main residence and the Lincoln Bedroom were the previous Presidential Office. The change occurred in 1909.

You are partially right. If by "The Queen" you mean Queen Elizabeth II, then No. But in the past, European Queens have stayed here when visiting US. But it has also been used by the children of The President. @@rayshi8560 a China room is just a spot where they display and use China (the porcelain dining sets, tea cups, etc). It used to be common for the aristocracy and politicians to have fancy dining sets that they'd use to have tea (or sometimes coffee) as well as light meals while entertaining guests as well as important business matters or matters of state. European monarchies had rooms like this before the White House but the White Houses China room got started in the 1800s if i remember right. As far as I know the only alterations that Trump has made to the white house are the standard decoration changes and personal furniture that every president does when they take office and some very basic technological updates that happen steadily over the years. He hasnt done anything major like turn the bowling alley into a spray tan room or something like that.
