I know this is Adam's show, but I need to take a minute to comment on Greg Braggs. I watch every show of CHGO [Bears] and I'm really proud of him. He was like an NFL draft pick, a year ago, who was raw with high potential. He plays in the lane of a meatball, but he's much smarter than that label implies. I hope he knows that. Anyway, I've seen a ridiculous amount of NFL [mostly Bears centered] media coverage in the last 18 months and honestly, his growth, as a sports journalist, is outstanding! At first, he was a ball of emotional energy, and as fans, we love to see that passion! But that seemed to be the limit of his Bears input. Now, that is not the case, at all. He has picked up interviewing skills, foresight about what journalists can get away [from a personal stand point], foresight about what can be said about players/coaches without repercussions. A lot of that has to do with patience and I know that's not his thing. Either way, his professionalism/maturity is coming across and he learned that the hard way. Braggs, now offers insights about players, NFL strategies, coaches, & NFL processes that just wasn't there a year ago. To me, that's so refreshing! Everyone loves a ridiculously passionate fan, but that appeal doesn't last, because most adults eventually want adult takes about things we love [in this case, the Bears]. College is fun, frats are fun, but almost all of us mature past that mentality and we don't want crazy/meatball fan 100% of the time. Thank you, Greg Braggs, for all of your hard work! That killer mentality you showed, landing Rich Eisen on CHGO at the combine, was epic! You can down play that, but I'm sorry, nobody else even tried. You stepped up and nailed it! Like I said, 2024 is your year! Purdue made it to the NCAA championship, Hester was voted into the Hall of Fame [your favorite player], you got your boy, Odunze in the draft, you're going to London in the fall, and I saw you LIFT A GROWN MAN from the ground to the stage at Joe's after the Bears drafted Rome Odunze!!! Keep growing, because the sky is the limit for your career, my friend. I honestly think you'll win a journalism award in the future. Be proud of yourself because you deserve all the great things coming your way!

This means a ton. I tend to only pay attention to my critics but this is one of if not the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me. Especially from someone that isn't close to me and didn't have to go out of their way or into that much detail to say it. To be honest, I've been in a bad rut for a few weeks now and this is great a reminder of how important it is to keep focusing on the positives. Thank you again. See you in a chat soon. Enjoy the holiday weekend.

Adam I'm a die hard bears fan for 47 years and yes I'm in Chicago my whole life .We got some weird fans.Since fields was traded we our going to get I told you so about Caleb.People need to understand he's going against the top defense of the league and that's a great thing for Williams.Williams is going to be a star by mid season and there's going to be alot of the field bandwagoners coming aboard.Bear down I got us going 11-6 and I do believe getting Houston early might be a good thing if they get that win then 12-5 and the 1 seed everyone comes thru chicago

I'm guessing you never saw kzbin.info/www/bejne/a3uyYoOpqtV5lbc. Fields is _clearly_ a more consistent, accurate passer. & the "Great Passes" Caleb is known for? All under-thrown even though he wasn't under any pressure to do so, all landing for completions only because the defense completely gave up on the plays. You all *watched your HC & GM set Fields up to fail* & pretended that you didn't see. it. Remember when Mac Jones was caught seeking help outside the Pats? Imagine if Bellichick had responded by Saying Nothing. We'd *all **_know_* he was on the outs. Well? Fields called out his coaches publicly, twice. & his own GM who should have cared because he could have traded the #1 pick for WAY MORE than a 4th-rounder said nothing. Nor did the HC whose job should have been on the line for this say anything. They *wanted Fields gone* & made it obvious. Enjoy your 4th-rounder & the less accurate Justin Fields Lite who also can't run as well.

Or maybe it's the media's fault he had no anticipation, he was slow reading defenses, definitely their fault he had NO pocket presence at all smh... C'mon dude, Justin wasn't just gonna be great cuz they added WRs and 1 OL. He was the same QB from year 1 to year 3. Can we calm down on the 7-on-7 talk! Most know that 7-on-7 doesn't allow for honest defenses as the offense never runs the ball, nor do they do RPO's and Play-Action passes! Keeping defenses honest by misdirection on certain plays is what allows certain routes to get open. When a secondary knows every snap is a pass, nobody is ever out of alignment making spaces between zones very small and even man to man coverage much easier! Playing 11 on 11 with a full playbook and a good chess game and I'll we will see how it goes. Before I judge, I want to make sure all 11 starters are on the field as well! Let's face it, the defense has been waiting for this day longer than the offense and they made sure they were all on the same page due to all the hype that has been made. Without that hype, I guarantee this defense wouldn't have prepared as well for an OTA practice!

This coaching staff is a FRAUD: Handing over a rookie qb to a TEs coach and a defensive coordinator was a BAD move by Poles. Last yr Waldron was DEAD LAST on 3rd down offense. 28th redzone offense. He struggles with adjustments, falls into some serious play calling ruts. Designed some good plays, but a HORRIBLE play caller. Creative formations with runs inside on early downs. Timid play calling, alot of 2nd and long runs and screens. Neither the skills or creative mind Caleb and Chicago needs. Waldron and Flus are FRAUDS!

@michaelkawell3300 To start off, I am a staunch Packer fan, and have been since the 1950s. I have a lot of great memories of games between the past Packers and the Monsters of the Midway known as the Chicago Bears. Yes, I'm a Packer fan, but I am also a fan of our division. I was brought up with the pleasure of seeing classical battles between the Bears and the Packers and tight hard fought games at that! In which both our teams were equal to the task. Yeah, the Packers have been fortunate with quarterbacks in the past. But I do wish good fortune upon the Chicago Bears! I know that sounds crazy, but I want it the way it used to be. I'm not like A quarterback, who born in California never had respect for division opponents history or enjoyed it! Just as I have great memories of Paul Horning, Bart Starr. I also have great memories of games decided by Willie Gallimore Sid Luckman. Gale Sears, George Blanda,Dick Butkas Johnny Lujack. Richie Petibon and many others. I'm a fan of the division. I'm a football fan. I'm an NFL fan I'm not a California quarterback, who was not born into it. Who does not have respect for it? I have respect for the fan of another team. I enjoy my Packers. Just as I know Bear fans love their Bears players. I look forward to the day when the games between Chicago and Green Bay are decided in the last three minutes. In the last two minutes in the last minute. To me now that's football.! Nobody owns anybody.! Best wishes to the season!
