Caleb having 9 games of NFL experience prior to playing a division game isn’t a bad thing. I suppose you can say that’s the league helping the Bears out.

The defense alone should make this team above .500. If the offensive line actually improves, then they should make the playoffs. If Nate Davis (personal) and Braxton Jones (neck) rebound from subpar beginnings, I believe it can happen. Lack of continuity was part of the problem in the beginning of last year. The defense and the starting offensive line don’t have that problem this year. We added talented skill players to the mix and upgraded the O Line depth.

We brought in two centers & Kiran to compete with Braxton. I hope Braxton comes in OTA's Buff like he's been body building on his off season but I doubt it!!!

They have a very similar schedule that Houston got last season. I can actually see bears being better than 10-7 , it’s realistic. But Caleb having Cjs rookie stats most likely won’t happen.

I’ve learned as a bears fan not to feed into the hype. I wanna see what happens on the field with 3-5games in to make my assumptions🤷‍♂️

As a Bears fan I ALWAYS feed into the hype because it is often the only time I am excited. It's like when you date a girl and you think she is "different" only to find out she is not after week 5 or 6!!! At least you were excited in the begining, without that what do you have? @@SmokeeBear by watching both of them in college lol. CJ had flawless mechanics, went through progressions at an advanced level, and knew when to take a check down vs when to push the envelope. Anyone with eyes can see that Caleb is still a little raw. Not saying he can’t be better than CJ, just that it might take him longer and we need to be realistic about that

Bears have to win at least 12 games to match what Ryan Pace did in his third season. Plus, the Bears have much superior offensive weapons than Nagy had that season. To me, that is the measure of the progress of this team.
