Thanks Karl, you videos have been an eye opener for me. I watched the video on camera buying guide. I used to be carried away with the mega pixels of a camera while ignoring the important aspect which is the sensor. But now I know better. Lenses are key then the sensors. I would like to enrol in your online school soon to get the knowledge you recommended. Thanks Karl.

Absolutely perfect! I'm part way through your free course and it has been a huge help for me to understand what initially was a minefield. Only just started looking into photography and cant wait to get my first bit of kit! Just need to decide what to get and what to shoot!

Good videos. I learn so much from this. You have very expensive cameras such as Hasselblad, which most photographers can't afford. Why not use Canon, Sony, Panasonic or Nikon when shooting because that's what most of us can relate to, and not Hasselblad that only you and rich photographers can afford

Your coverage of so many diverse topics is superb and I enjoy your presentations. If I may be so bold to suggest, I was under the impression that super telephoto would be anything greater than 300mm. You did mention up to 250 so it's close, but to me 200-300 would still be medium to long. I consider 400/500/600/800/1000/1200 or more to be super. 😌

I have about 10 different vintage lenses made for film cameras, so they are all full frame. And I'm going to buy 7 artisans 60mm f2.8 macro, for my Sony NEX 5. Can you compare 7 artisans 60mm f2.8 macro with other similar lenses? Is there a big difference between the expensive lenses you use and this one?

Hi Karl, I am thinking about to get the 50mm HC lens for my H2 body, but I've heard that the second version is a much better performer. I would be very happy if you could tell me your opinion about the first version. I've seen a few reviews of the II, it is an excellent lens, no question about it, but I can not find anything about the first one. Thank you!

Unfortunately I can't tell you anything about it as I've never owned one. I've got the 35-90 which I love, 80 and 100 so had no need for the 50 prime yet. My friend fashion photographer Daria Belikova uses the 50 alot for her work but not sure which version.
@tomsawyer88024 жыл бұрын
@@VisualEducationStudio Thank you for the answer, I really appreciate it. I know, the 35-90 is a very good allrounder, but unfortunately it is not compatible with the H2. My choices would be the 50mm and the 120 Macro, but I think I need some more research.

In 35mm full frame format then I'd use a lens somewhere between 75 to 90mm focal length.
