I want to note that in the painting example it resulted in the correct distances between the center of each painting but it made some assumptions about the width of the paintings to determine the distance from the left of the wall. I could have clarified by giving it further instruction to improve the answer but I did not for the sake of time.

Let me clarify a point made in this video that a few have pointed out. I said "think less", what I meant was we could think higher level and not worry about getting lost in the weeds as much. An analogy can be made to how we interact with a computer, instead of manipulating bits and bytes ( ones and zeros ) you are giving keyboard and mouse inputs. We as humans are still still at a low level of thinking and it will be very interesting to see where we are when tools like this enable that next level.

Worth remember that this isn't foolproof. The article it produced on Musk for example contains several incorrect statements, for example saying he founded Tesla - he did not, he aquired it by force from Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning. It also stated that the falcon heavy was the most powerful operational rocket - that was the case when the AI was trained in 2021 but is no longer true. The AI wont be able to help with anything that took place after its training cut off date in 2021, and just like the rest of the GPT3 library, will often produce incorrect statements.
@robotjs
@robotjs Жыл бұрын
You are correct you need to be careful and audit what it creates. And yes it was trained based on data from 2021. Also "he aquired it by force from Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning" Is a contested statement on its own so while I agree with the main point of this comment, I want to be clear that that statement is contested ( he said she said ). If you google founders of tesla he is listed as ONE of the founders. But in summary take what it creates with a grain of salt and do your own research as well. This is a tool to help not replace us. People still don't realize that when the tech is ready, their descendants will enjoy lives from birth instead of spending the first 20 or so years for study and the next 50 for work. Why study if you can just retrieve information or even conclusion this easy? Why study when some day knowledge can be just uploaded to the brain so that everybody can, without study or practice, be Einstein or even Messi if skills and sensation can be uploaded too? Certainly we need to resolve issues in the process such as AI replacing human for jobs, but the trend is unstoppable.

Everyone Hyped but this is the truth: In the current state, and also probably in the coming years, It will replace you only if your work is about doing mundane task which do not require much precision or control. It won't replace any dev that is decent, nor it will replace accountants nor it will replace university student doing exams or such, I played with it. It's like and advanced google for a wikipedia up to date at 2021. Most answers are mechanic and repetitive and even the most creative things you could do for example "Let me play a textual game like Freud thought it" result in some very mechanical and basic stuff. Right now the most useful stuff I found is when it automates some boring excel stuff like SheetAI app does.
