Here's an idea for another mulligan video: 18 mulligans, but you HAVE to take 1 per hole no matter what. Would force you to end up reshooting some good shots or risk pulling a putt back out of the hole at the end. Might be interesting. Just getting back into golf this year for the first time since my early teens, love your videos dude they're awesome

He's so much more fun when he's playing well. Over the span of about two weeks this past spring -- not really, but it feels like it -- he had that spectacular round with the blonde woman from Scotland, and a round in Florida where he was literally apologizing to the other people in the foursome -- was it Doral? Anyway, the first one was so great that I've re-watched it several times, and the other one was unbearable.

Rick, I really enjoyed this one, if anything because there was so much of the golfer psyche on display. Showed a difference between being focused for 1 shot only versus having the comfort of a do-over, and the difference in the mental approach for each. I'm going to try this on my next round. Cheers!

My golf buddy and I, both in our mid 70’s, will play 2nd shot golf. Of course not every shot needs a 2nd so it probably works out similar to the 10 mulligans you had. And you are correct that it makes playing much less stressful. Great video from the master of great videos.

I loved this. You proved a couple things, I think… 1. You proved by using mulligans, that you don’t need them. Everything you used a mulligan for on one hole, you did without a mulligan on another. 2. By having all these mulligans, you proved your biggest weakness is mental. You were fearless in attacking the hole & this was the best I’ve seen you put. You’re good enough to shoot below par with no gimmicks. I think you should do a course vlog every week where you just go for it… but not a ‘Break 75’ bc mentally, you’re telling yourself it’s a huge challenge to get that score, but you’re better than that. If the new PGA tour included some sort of skills challenge during the weekend, it would be cool if the winner earned a mulligan to use at an event, but only lower ranked players could compete in the skills challenge.

Rick's a poor man's Arnold Palmer. He's always erratic off the tee, but he can hit brilliant recovery shots & make clutch putts. He's not on the tour because he can.t always "fix what he broke" out there on the links. Rick could shoot anywhere from a 65 to a 75 given 10 mulligans.
