As Anna's father I'm disqualified as an objective commenter. Still, as a clinical psychologist, I can say I think Anna enriches the notion of self-examination and self-understanding with her ecological perspective. I think for many of us ecological metaphors have more meaning than traditional psychological schemes. I can also say how proud I am that my dear, loving daughter was chosen for this TED talk.

This is a great example of why I love TED talks: smart people sharing how what they've learned from their specific area of expertise can be used to teach us all more general lessons about life that we can all benefit from. Well done!

This is an amazing little lecture because it is so BIG in its meaning. I keep learning the microsystem tells us so much about the macro system and this TED talk exemplifies that so well.Besides being well spoken and succinct, the slides and her three stories are great.
