This Wrastor is super good, i hope i can see this as a series of you just fighting old rivals players. You can do this bro I believe

Also one tip is that if Wrastor is anything like he is in Rivals 1, try to stop him from setting up his side-special, Slipstream. I don't know if shield stops it, but hitting it out of the air and parrying it should. (I still don't completely understand projectile clashes in this game yet, but see if bubbles stops it.) The important thing is that if it hits you (or completely whiffs you), it'll span the whole stage and lets Wrastor drastically increase his airspeed (which includes his wavedash speed). Don't let him have that.

I think in this game he specifically needs to hit you in order to set up slipstream, but otherwise the same counterplay from Rivals 1 still applies

@@Wattmelon it works on shield too. it even happens at 15:10 it also works on any object that can be hit like kragg rock and pillar

One small thing I’m noticing is how when you FAir/FSpecial from ledge you seem to almost always go for the full length versions of both moves when you could shorten both (hold back during FSpecial iirc) to mix up your recovery and reset to neutral better?

Wrastor only has Strong Attacks in the air. And I had so many analog issues while playing Rivals 1 and SmUsh I switched to a Smash Box lol
