People arriving by small boats with no checks is of course a problem. The people who are crossing are often in danger and when they arrive they can’t work, find a home, find work, pay tax etc so of course that is a problem that’s needs managing. Regarding the prisons, this again is a major issue, the prisons aren’t big enough and can’t cope with the population now, the probation service was partly privatised a number of years ago and public services have been under funded for a long time (police, gp’s, hospitals) it needs a careful thought out solution and I don’t think Farage or Reform are capable of doing this, the tories have to accept some of the blame so let’s give labour a chance.
