17:40 Yes, it is true. There’s good light, and dark light. In anger, the devil can tempt You in both, not just the dark, but the light in or through Your own anger, or development of abilities. Specially, “forehead” or the amygdala, which is a fear/rage peanut size organ existing within the brain. The stronger, rather more You develop, He will want to use You, test You, succumb You to ego and darkness. Imagine the most pure rage and anger, it’s what He loves to put to the test.

But as part of the fall, there are things that can be used for bad, such as the various plants that have been used as recreational drugs, in order for a temptation to be a temptation there must be a pull or draw to the flesh, I believe those things were part of the curse, as if there were no things to appeal to the flesh there would be no choice to make as all would be good, so we must be able to make a choice between good and evil. The bible does not really say where or how demons and such got here or came into being, but we know they are here and we have been given authority over them, through Christ. Questions, questions, questions, we have an innate curiosity which if used rightly allows us to seek out our Creator and desire the spiritual things that are freely given to us. I have a feeling that once we cross over to that side, all of our questions will be meaningless, as we will be given all that we need just like Adam and Eve were, created as adults, able to reason, able to run/walk work, speak with a language, as all of that was provided by God when they were created, they did not have to learn anything before the fall. this does not really answer where these spirit beings originated, but we know where they are going..
