When North Africa and most of the East split off from the church into heresy they were quickly conquered by muslims when they arrived. Spain which remained catholic fought back and eventually pushed the Muslims out and reestablished the church -then discovered the new world and converted millions. I weep at times in the middle of saying my Rosary... I weep when I watch these wonderful videos of Garabandal visions, The absolute glory of God moves in me at these times and I can't stop weeping for Mankind. It started months ago and it's hard to control at times. When I pray I will suddenly weep when I think deeply about Mary... I have been very concerned about it and yet when I weep I feel so close to GOD and The Blessed Virgin Mother. A priest told me... "show me woman that doesn't weep and I will show you a woman with a real problem. At times I am so engulfed in the thought of mys sins over my lifetime that I weep deeply and ask our Lord to forgive me and give me the grace to grow in his love and kindness. "Oh my Jesus, save us from the fires of hell and bring all souls to heaven especially those who have most need of your Mercy". I am now 73 years old. I see so much hate and lack of love in the world... It makes me almost ILL inside. I do NOT watch the news anymore for I think it's evil and twisted. I pray the Lord will led everyone back to him and learn to be kind and charitable once again... there are SO many good decent people on earth. I pray our Lord will take us up and save us from the evil that has spread so rapidly. THIS VIRUS is the FIRST WARNING!

I'm glad I watched this. You made a video about the Synod and after hearing what the pope did with those statues, everything I have seen and heard just built up in me and I cried so hard I begged Jesus and Mary to save the Holy Mother church. I prayed the rosary and again begged and as I'm typing this I have tears forming. I confess, my heart is hard, I don't weep (very rarely at least), I do get very anxious and have a sinking feeling in my chest when I think of what we're doing (or not doing) when it comes to our (my) lack of slavery to righteousness. I recently heard a catholic Father mention praying to the Father for tears of repentance, so I do, maybe it was you? I harbour a lot of pride, it constantly torments me with its scratching talons, they grip nearly every word I vomit out my face. However, I've found lately God's mercy is producing sight in my dark, I'm so grateful for small obediences, as I've done (and do) a lot of rebelling. I know God is good, and He is working in me fruits worthy of repentance no thanks to the 'old man', however small they are, His mercy endures forever. Thank you Fr Mark. God bless.

Wow, pretty heavy message on Divine Mercy Sunday, but I guess we have to hear it. I weep over the current state of the Catholic Church in the world - the abuse cases, the Sri Lanka bombings on Easter Sunday where the churches remain closed for fear of even more attacks - and I also weep for my own sins and all the times when I didn’t pay attention to the things that are important for eternal life. I cry for the homeless - those who do not fit in anywhere and are truly alone. Those who have not accepted Christ, have hearts of stone, and are addicted. They are bound, chained, and dead with no hope. Fortunately, I heard a sermon that talked about the absolute love and mercy of God, that would have to take into account the circumstances that lead to all of this. DIVINE JUSTICE. I wrote a poem: Weeping is a gift, Without it, How would I know What happiness is? And not take it for granted? If eternity is heaven, If heaven is happiness, What will God think of my tears at the gates of eternity? They will not be tears of sadness, But rather tears of joy, To be reunited with my loved ones, To know that I am finally Home, Yes, there will be weeping in Heaven, It will be my tears of joy. ------------------------------ For reflection: As to your examples, the first two are forms of disappointment; the next examples are forms of injustice. They may make us weep, in the sense they are emotionally moving, but they are not permanent situations and may have hope for improvement at some point. But what about things that are deeper forms of suffering in our lives? Things like illnesses, abuses (in any form), fighting, wars, torture, depression, resentment, envy, hatred, blame, guilt, self-destruction, accidents, traumas, deprivation (of any kind) corruption, deaths/murders, etc. I would think that it's very difficult not to grieve over such things and even harder to cope without weeping. The latter are things makes us breakdown and grieve over the long term. These are the things that put us at the crossroads of defining our relationship with God. I cry every day. I couldn't go through the day or night being indifferent. But I have to be honest with myself as to what things are worth crying for and consequently fighting for (through prayer and actions) and what things are just better being let go. It's the human experience: morality, consciousness, hope. I believe it's important to weep, to not be in denial of what hurts; but what we choose to do after it, is what defines strength and faith.

I'm so glad I saw this! I'm huge cryer! When I'm happy and sad. And I especially cry over the sorrow and pain of the world. But also over babies being born and people being saved and happy families. Oh I'm a cryer. 😂

I weep for my sins. I weep for the world I weep for people who do not love Jesus and Mary. The closer I get to Jesus the more I realize my neediness. My best friend is a catholic priest and I always felt Jesus did this for my holiness. I wish I had a friendship with you too your spirit is so close to Jesus. We must surround ourselves with people who love Christ. It is a dark world. Bless everyone here who listens to this priest. Amen

Tony G I've done the consecration for 33 days to Morning Glory for the second time this year and I want next to do 33 Days to Merciful Love! I heard today on the show before the Divine Mercy Mass, Fr. Dan Calloway has a book coming out for 33 days to the Consecration to St Joseph! Consecrations would be complete to Jesus, Mary and Joseph! The older i get (im about to be 25)and the more my knowledge and wisdom expands, i start to weep when i realize that, despite any perfect amount of faith, there is the possibility that Christ may not be the absolute truth. I know that he will never leave us. And i worry for my salvation at times. Despite this I'm thankful for this wisdom, because he gave it to me for a reason & I love Him with all of my heart and remove any doubts on a daily basis. In these thoughts and moments, i need him the most.

I weep everyday by the Sanctuary for all that our Eucharistic Lord endures in the Most Blessed Sacrament, Love is not known or loved. Everyday without exception I watch as He is outraged and treated with so much indifference, irreverence and indignity. When all hell breaks loose in the church I have only ever seen a man defend our Lord and His holy Temple 3 times (one was a priest). My heart is totally broken.
