In this clash royale video, we discuss what I want to see from clash royale in 2025. 2024 was a great year for clash royale, and it's really important that 2025 continues that momentum. Star points definitely need a big rework I’ve been on this rant before but Star points not being used for banners and they just made up a whole new currency is incredibly stupid. They also occasionally return tower skins so they could perhaps make them for a lot of Star points. Star points have a lot of potential uses and instead they just use it on a singular half baked concept

Regarding the chef tower and rune giant, I don't think complex mechanics are bad for the game, they should exist for those players who want a deeper experience. However, they should NOT be meta, they should not force casual players to play complex cards.

I don’t know about not being meta; otherwise what’s the point of even adding them And if you look at midladder stats all the new cards are essentially unused despite being given for free so it’s not an issue to them They should not be released or buffed to be made OP imo

INSTEAD, 🙋‍♂️we can give skins only to champions as they are limited in number and they are not going to get EVO ...so it is actually a great idea..also they don't have any star points/skins ..... simple - star skins on regular cards and evo designs on evolution cards and then finally new SKINS on champions !!

Agree with first two ideas but I do NOT agree with the idea of SKINS for TROOPS. It is OK for new star looks for the new troops but making the skins for cards as in Brawls Stars is too much for strategy game, making the arena/battle to look like messy (I am saying this because when I returned to my Brawl Stars after a year break I didn’t know the majority of heros becuase how drastically different they were and it was difficult to play against not knowing who is who). At the end of the day it Clash Royale is a strategy game and people play it for this reason (majority) over other games. Therefore, as you mentioned current cosmetics with tower skins, banners and emotes are just enough IMHO.

I stopped playing long ago but still follow the news. The main reason I don't want to return is that new content seems inaccessible. Most of it is "vertical", tied to progression. For example new tower troop doesn't make me download the game because 1)I don't have the means to upgrade it 2)I will most likely be destroyed by it in ladder. Brawl Stars on the other hand does it right. "Horizontal" content that I can access right as I download the game. But when I return into Clash Royale all I can do is start grinding again

I wish Clash Royale will had a chance to be the best game ever to be saved like Clash of Clans always for.. it’s the updates and events and the new cards and tower card and better evolution cards and the new champions😢😢😭

I think a season without any evos or tower troops would be very cool and bringing back tons of players. Because you can try new decks, there is a new meta and no op evos or tower troops. And for just one season that would be a very good idea, to bring a breath of fresh air back into the game. Very good video, I needed someone to make a whole video about problems and improvements for the game. I subscribed 👍

I think a good additon to the game would be giving every single player a fireball evolution for free currently and in the future when players hit arena 5 they can get that fireball evolution for free too

I think they should be added better clan war reward maybe to have tree choices . waild Card , Chest or lucky drop + the clan chest and some gold around 30k or more have 6 decks , but every card can be used twise .

How about a cancel button that actually works and lesser trophy deduction when matches are close we can have boring no new launch update if only these factors can get fixed. Honorable mentions- enabling voice chat for duo matches and a "world chat" It helps growth of clans and also builds relationships which harbours a more intimate audience for the game since people will start associating memories and moments with the game which would increase engagement and amount of people in the game in the long run. All the games which are the trend or considered at the top legeaus regarding popularity mostly have this feature clash being around for 8yrs is yet to develope that

I want new fun and rewarding modes related to the core gameplay of cr and maybe some of them permanent improvements to progression an overhaul of clan wars and new cool and balanced tower troops evos and cards also new cosmetics would be cool

I find you should be able to get an Evolution every 1 or 2 months because they add 1 or 2 evolutions per month

Clan war needs a rework. They should introduce an option to choose players for clan war. Like coc. It's a big necessity for clans growth. Plenty of players don't participate in war and we can't do anything for that.

-fix “swarm” AI. We gotta be picture perfect w/ the power creep rising. I ain tryna see my cards keep winding up. Literally letting troops come to the tower when they could already be swinging. They fake a swing is the most painful thing. I already get pissy if my homie doesn’t play optimal in 2v2. I don’t need my cards to be acting the same. That’s not very elite from my barbarians. Or firecracker or ghost grabbing their popcorn instead of plowing skarmy -KILL SWARM STAGGER. And make arrows 2 waves. And to patch the sight issue. Just give them a larger sight, and have 3 targets lined up ready to atk on something. Hollly hell yk how much of a game changer this would be for fisherman? Or if he knew how to single out the highest HP. -let battle ram lightning sponge again. I seriously doubt 3m will be problematic. -spawners wouldn’t be that problematic. And yk what? It’d be good if we’re not gonna be doing anything abt 30-40% arrow usage. 🫤 stretch the damn board, and we have so many aoe doods. Ya bring them back.

I don’t think having more complex cards is inherently bad. Rune giant and goblinstein despite being extremely unbalanced right now I think offer a lot of fun new decks and archetypes. They’re gonna need more balancing but I’m confident these cards are good for the game. My issue comes with cards like the bush and the demolisher. Both are extremely gimmicky and confused cards that just don’t feel coherent to play. Demolisher feels confused on if it wants to be a defensive card, an offensive card, or a support card. And frankly I don’t even think the devs knew what kinda decks the bush was meant to be played in while making it. Complicated mechanics aren’t bad it’s just that often it just slaps strange incoherent mechanics into one card that don’t work together in a comprehensible way.
