I'm in the business, and I can say with confidence this guy is on the money. He knows what he's talking about on all levels. Great channel.

I bought 2 linen shirts from Massimo Dutti and I have to say the packaging alone was worth the price, I’ve never seen such quality in the packaging of “fast fashion brands” plus the shirts were the perfect fit for me almost like tailored. I’m definitely going to buy again from them, I think right now they are the best brand in europe if you want to achieve the “old money” style on a budget

I have watched two videos this guy has made and I absolutely love the approach. I don't think I've been able to find anyone else on the platform going into as much detail on the quality of a specific brand, item by item and breaking down what works and what doesn't. Thank you!

Been wearing Massimo for more than 10 years. I always liked them. Nice products for reasonable price. Great shirts, sweaters, nice blazers and leather jackets, but I loved their pants a lot. I'm 191 with 90kg so slim fit suits me perfectly. I also liked that pants were made out of nice material and usually had some pattern. Also liked that they were not fashion but classical style. I've bought their stuff in Croatia, Spain, Hong Kong and China. Everywhere same type of male customers. Mostly 35+ men who look for understated style. But in last two years they have shifted to being fashion like Zara. Paints are horrible. If I hate something that's the pants that show ankles. Also now even slim fit is baggy. I tried several chinos in their store recently and all are short and baggy. Shirts are still great, recently bought few nice cotton wool sweaters and beautiful new blazer. Also new knitted polo shirts are great. I never buy anything polyester and still had no problem with sweaters because I hand wash them in cold water. All made in China. I will continue to but from them but unfortunately I do no like this shift in styling.

Great video again., mate. I came across Massimo Dutti around 1991 and liked it straight away. It was much better than its British equivalents, like Next. Then, it ripped off Ralph Lauren Polo even to its labelling. It's gotten better over the years for its price bracket. The trick, as our host says, is getting in first at Sale time.

I would see this brand at used stores and at stores that sell new over stock/last season stock at a discount. I never thought much of them and now I know why. Italian clothes should be made in Italy. Mind you, I have also looked at a tie today that said, "Made in Italy" but it was 100% polyester, which goes to show that not every item made in the big three (England, France, Italy) are top quality. Good point on the Merino wool, I've found there is a huge difference from one brand to another when it comes to Merino.

Aaaaargh, here comes another "investor". Everybody, please, STOP using the word "investing" every now and then. The correct word is "buying". Went to boulangerie, invested into tasty baguette. That's about the same as investing into clothes you wear for a season or two or a bottle of scotch that you are going to consume in nearest week or month or half a year (like I mostly do). You invest into commodities, shares, etc. - something that is intended to hold it's value or to be resold in the future for a profit. I don't see such perspective with Massimo Dutti clothes or empty whisky bottle :)

Well, If it gives you a benefit and is maintained over time and since we have to wear clothes to avoid being arrested for indecent exposure 😂 Then makes sense to talk about investing in certain pieces of clothing, like the camel coat that I mentioned in this video, got it 10 years ago, and I planning to wear it all my life :)

This is a great video, thank you. For someone who loves the style and fit of Massimo Dutti but is really annoyed at how much the clothes shrink or have pilling, what brands would you recommend looking into other than John Medley? I’m mostly into the knit t shirts and polos and their summer clothes. Any international brands? I’m in Canada.

The warehouse people lied and said the returned boxes were empty. Had to fight them to get a refund. Wound never but from them again.

You were talking about lots of clothings pilling. Is it not possible to de-pill it with an apparatus? For me it always works. But maybe it is not the same. Could you enlighten us about that? Thank you for your video; very helpful! I have been buying for a few years from MD and like the designs a lot generally.

Nice video! To be honest Massimo Dutti, at least in my country, is by price considered an expensive brand :D But yes, on sale it is more bearable. If we think of a cheaper brand here it is Sinsay, LC Waikiki, maybe H&M (but only the non-"premium" stuff) comes to mind. Even Zara for example is not considered that cheap. What I am trying to say is I somehow can't ever imagine spending more on clothes than on a "Massimo Dutti priced" brand. My question is is it ever worth it to spend 2-3x times the price for clothing in your opinion? What is the use of buying super expensive clothing? Don't you ever get tired for example from certain expensive items? Or do you buy "cheaper" items to experiment sometimes with new looks?

Actually the cheapest country to buy clothes from MD is Spain, even in the UK its a bit more expensive than in Europe. I don't have super expensive staff from Loro Piana for example or any other similar Luxury company. But I have clothes from Sunspel, Baracuta, John smedly... are more fair price for the quality.
