Life never stays the same, no matter how much we want them too. In 2023 I realized I couldn't travel very far for Home Free concerts or anything else. That is very hard for me to accept. I now have my 9th great-great grandchild, born 1/27/24. So, I totally understand desiring to spend time with family and being at home. Time that you don't have with family is very hard. That hit me like a ton of bricks when my sons passed. As I had worked full time for 55 years. I missed alot of stuff concerning the kids. Regrets are very hard to accept. I do pray that everything goes beyond your wildest imagine for your future. You can always know that as long as I have a mind, I will remain your prayer warrior grandma. That assignment has not changed. Many blessings and much love.

My husband and I have tickets for your Home Free concert in Denver, which will be our third one and our last. We are in our mid seventies where traveling has become too difficult. I never stayed home until I had children. Then I was always there. I was 36 when I had them. I am 83 and can't sing anymore but I try. I was a second alto in every choir in glee club, all city junior choir, symphonic singers. You two are good together.

I was asleep when the live stream was on (Netherlands). But to be honest, I saw this coming because of a certain feeling when I saw your videos especially of your house. Of course I would have preferred it differently, but I understand you. This decision will be difficult for you both, but you must listen to your heart. And how wonderful is it that you have made your house not just a place to stay, but a home💖. That is a very important point in your life. And yes, sometimes it is just necessary to take a different path. I will continue to follow you, just because you say it will be different genres. I am especially curious about the Gospel. 😉 As long as it comes from the heart and is made with pleasure, it should be fine. But I will also forever be a Home Fry. Home Free is the group that helped me through difficult times. Sometimes with tears of sadness and other times with tears of laughter, etc. I hope you will collaborate with them or one of the members again someday. There have been groups that have come together and produced magic in their music. Fleetwood Mac, The Mamas and the Papas, Early Bruce Springsteen, where the combination of talent has been more than the sum of the parts. Home Free is one of those magical combinations of voices and talent where 1+1+1+1+1 has equaled way more than 5. There can be no way that the band will be the same. I don't doubt they will be great and with your talent , I have no doubt you will have major success in whatever you do. I truly enjoyed all Home Free's music and appreciate the level of hard work and sacrifice it takes to do what you have done. I wish you well in your endeavors. Change is integral and it take great integrity to say "I'd like to start a family" over "I want to become a solo artist". We've always said that Home Free is the greatest group of the most humble people we have ever seen (or heard). I commented to my wife that I think Lisa Cimorelli (who you collaborated with on "Meant To Be") would be a great choice. Her voice blended GREAT with the group yet still stood out on her solo lines. I have also always hoped you and Tim would work together to sing the song "Mr. Bassman". It is sad that the best version of that song I've ever heard was done by Floyd and Scooter on the Muppet Show. I think you and Tim could blow this song out of the park.
