I love the Farmstick, I have only had two issues with it, the light in the middle quits working quite often so you aren’t able to visually see which mode you are in for the orange buttons. The second issue I have is it seems to cause a keybind issue with regard to being able to fuel/fill equipment or turn on attachments, you have to exit and then re-enter the vehicle get the action to work. I have tried everything I can think of to rectify this with no success. If anyone else experienced this and was able to fix it let me know. Otherwise this is a great addition to farm sim.

Good video. FYI: There is a "glitch" in the game that has some functions "preassigned" and UNCHANGEABLE to some buttons on peripherals. I.e. button 21 on the side panel opens menu. NO OPTION. Gear 8 on TH8A shifter opens menu. NO OPTION. I hope GIANTS SOFTWARE will read this and PLEASE FIX THIS! You are 100% correct, Klutch. Peripherals really enhance the emersion for simulation gaming. That's the only reason I play.....and my rig is over the top.🤣 Thanks for the video!

I have the Hori farming system. It's a little overpriced for the fit and finish, the buttons feel very cheap physically. That being said, it works very well and I've been really enjoying FS25 with it. Also, your comment about Thrustmaster having a long pedigree: I remember as a kid lusting over Thrustmaster joysticks at CompUSA in the 1990s!

I managed to snag the Hori Farm Sim wheel. As a result I quickly shoved the Logitech POS in the closet to forever collect dust and cobwebs. LOVING the Hori wheel. I just really need to find out a good way to map my controls how I like as I am not a fan of their default layout. I am also not a fan of how Farming Simulator forces a button on the side panel to be the menu. It did this with the Logitech as well. So that's one less button I can map to something useful. I always use my keyboard when accessing the menu of any game. Ah well. Still … love the Hori wheel. My next wheel is going to be the Hori Truck Sim wheel and an additional stand so I can switch back and forth between games quickly with foldout wheels :) EDIT: FYI - Sim-Dashboard works on iOS now, and FarmSimGuy already has stuff for FS25 up on it. LOVE this update because now I can use my 12.9" iPad Pro for Sim-Dashboard. Dreams are coming true this year. EDIT 2: Also in FS25, that throttle control on the Hori … if you map the axis to "Accelerate", then you can indeed use it as a full throttle control and it works beautifully.

I personally use 2 logitech extreme 3d pro joysticks and a thrustmaster tmx pro wheel on fs22 mainly cause i rather log not farm but i can do anything on the game with it all plus my home made switch pannel i made for trucking and shifter im not rich tho all my stuff is dirt cheap or made from stuff i had laying around

Nice video I have a Logitech G920 steering wheel and a Simtask Joystick but I rarely steer with the steering wheel because I have added extra steering on the rudder axis (Z) on the Joystick. So yes The pedals on the steering wheel are more important than the steering wheel in farming simulator 😀 And I also have TrackIR so I use the minijoystick on the simtask for work functions like Hydraulic forks etc

The farm stick is nice however, it sucks the ingame menu doesn't show the buttons for some actions, and when paired with the T248 it doesn't show the correct keybinds, some require 2 different keybind but the menu only shows 1. How do I know? I have the farmstick and t248 and its been super flustering.

joystick only for logging or wheel loaders. hotas 4 works just like the hori throttle. and works just as well as hori or thrustmaster farmstick. also t148 works with the steering kit too dont leave it out

I use a thrustmaster T flight hotas one, it has a realy nice throttle to which can be detached from the joystick, i got the joystick on the right of my wheel and the throttle on the left of my wheel.

Shame Sony are so slow with PS5 compatibility. I bought the side controls with all the buttons but have never been able to use the damned thing as Sony did not allow compatability even though you can use it on a PS4. Xbox I believe but I maybe wrong have the farmsim stick. 😢

Well currently I am having to use the Farmstick and a controller. Due to having surgery on my right foot, it is difficult to use the pedals since the pedals are a tad to close in the post surgery boot.

@ram89572 Having now experienced the Nitrado servers (a discord I'm in started a community server), I don't doubt it. At least lag was the only issue I had with gportal, not constant connection issues. Still, advertising your servers as "lag free" (and I'm willing to bet money that was from them, as part of the script he had to follow for the deal) when they aren't is blatant false advertising.
