WHAT COULD I DO ON A LONG LAYOVER AT THE HEATHROW AIRPORT NEAR LONDON? 2023

In this video I'll show you how to quickly get out of the Heathrow airport when you have a long layover. I will then give you a walking of London afterwards I will head back to Heathrow to catch my flight out of town. On the walking tour I'll take you to Westminster Abby, BIG BEN, The London Eye, St. Paul's Cathedral, the Towers of London and The Tower Bridge.

Hi Phill! Great video! I have a 14 hour layover in Heathrow Airport and was wondering if I need to get a transit visa (US passport) or any kind of visa to come out to London for a few hours? What was your process like?

If you have US Passport you are 100% free to leave the airport and roam around London, no Visa needed. The process is simply the same as going into a country go through customs and show your Passport and they'll let you go.

Paddington station is where you want to get off on because from there you'll have many options on where you can go in London, like transfering to other lines.

I paid 25 pounds for a roundtrip ticket from the airport to the city. I didn't buy any other tickets, since I knew i would be going back to the airport

Good question, I had an overnight layover BUT I did all of that in 5 hours and I headed back to the airport so to answer your question if you have a layover more than 6 or 7 hours you could see all of that because all of those places are not that far from each other, thank you for commenting, have a safe trip.

I just want to take a picture of Big ben and London Bridge! I have a schengen work visa and residence card, PH passport.

I would recommend checking on the internet for that question, because I don't want to give you wrong infromation, but i can tell you 6 hours in plenty of time to go into the city and take a picture of Big Ben and the because the train will take you very close to there and you'll have time to make it back on the train to the airport. I do recommend for you to check the train schedule both ways because the train will stop running at a certain time in night, good luck, thank you for watching.

Hey I have usa visa and my layover at London Heathrow would be almost 16 hrs before the next connecting flight, do I need any transit visa to go out of the airport and have some look of central London and coming back in time..??? Your reply would be highly appreciated😊

In your case you can either call England's embassy in your area before you leave and ask them that question or you can wait until you get to Heathrow and show them you have an airplane ticket out of the country in a few hours and see if they will let you go. Thank you for watching and commenting.

When I was leaving, I told the UK officer I was on a long layover, I showed him my airplane ticket and he let me enter the country, he did NOT stamp my passport. For the record I have a USA passport, the passport you have the rules might be different. Thank you for watching and commenting.

Hi bro I have a 24 hour layover. Flight would land at 7 am and Next flight is 7 am next morning. Can you tell me if it possible that I leave the airport in the day and see around and then return to the airport in the night and spend my night at tge airport only . Every country has their own policy for example China allowed me to get out with no Visa to visit Shanghai but Jordan did not allow me to do it without visa. I would suggest to check with the embassy policy
