What are you talking about? The same engine is sold turbocharged, and warrantied at 140HP in ATVs and Snowmobiles. It's derated and normally aspirated way on down to 90 HP in the spark for reliability. Replacing a wear ring is a 20 minute job at most, 10 if you already know where the tools are. No ski on the market gives you better access for engine maintenance since you can take the whole top deck off. The ride is a bit rough in choppy water sure. Is it the fastest? no. Is it the prettiest? Debatable, but I'd still say no. Aside from that, it's cheap to buy, no messing with blending fuel and oil, quiet, quick enough to be fun, you can tow it with a compact car, it's cheap on gas and a whole ton of fun. It's what PWCs are supposed to be.
