I'd say a "Drink" has to be within the food stuff category (aka meant to be consumed) and be in a liquid state is not meant to be chewed at all. The first part ties into the "refreshed and nourished" part. The second part is to distinguish stuff you can technically "drink" even when you shouldn't. So soup would generally not count as unless it's a purely liquid stock you SHOULD chew it even if some don't if it's not too thick of a soup. Bleach would also not count as it's not made to be consumed.

If i remember correctly,homonym words must have completely different meanings but be the same word, technically "to drink" and "A drink" aren't homonyms as the latter one is the noun version of the former one,meaning they have a strong connection in meaning

I think this is the simplest argument. If you can drink it, it's a drink. Something can be drank if it is a liquid. Same way you can eat anything solid

glass is echnically a really slow liquid, so slow as to act like a solid, making it undrinkable. pitch is also an increadibly slow liquid. from there, the claim that all liquids are drinks falls apart.

This argument makes no sense. Anything liquid is a drink doesn't make much sense. But then again, there is no way to define a drink since it is named after what can you do with it. (I.e. drinking) If we did the same thing as food, then any solid would be called an "eat" because it would named after what we do with it. (i.e. eating) But it's not, it is called food. It is like we made a word to describe stuff to eat (I.e. food) But didn't do the same for drinking.
