This time, he’s trying to use the Holy Qur’an to somehow show that Jesus died on the cross…One thing is for certain; we shouldn’t take lessons on the commentary of the Holy Qur’an from David Wood. His understanding couldn’t be further from the truth, and we’re going show how, by separating Facts from Fiction.

The Bible In particular is assisted by the Holy Spirit, the Apostles knew Jesus, they traveled with Him lived with him for at least 3 years. All wrote about Him within 50 to 60 years of His death. The Quran was not, it was nearly 150 years and more before it was written down and that person was not told the stories, they supposedly were only told to MHMD; and then Uthman rewrote the Quran and burned all copies he could find in all of MHMD’N.

Muhammad is a false prophet not only because he says Jesus was not crucified but also because he denies that Jesus is God. Saying the soldiers were kind to Jesus is one of the most hilarious and shocking things I've ever heard. Not every soldiers believed in Jesus and even if they did, they could not save him. Because it was also the will of the Father and the Son to be crucified If you read not only the whole chapters but also all the Gospels and the Book of Jonah with reference to other books, you'd find that: 1. Jonah was dead inside the belly and he prayed in hell. (More context in the replies) 2. They made Simon carry the cross because Jesus was already beaten so badly that he was not in a condition to carry it. 3. They gave them wine so they wouldn't feel pain intensely, but Jesus only tasted and did not drink (Matthew 27:34). After tasting it, he knew it was to reduce pain so he rejected it. 4. They didn't break his leg because he was already dead (John 19:33-34). One of the soldiers, however, pierced his side with a spear, and immediately blood and water flowed out. Even if they didn't break his leg, they did worse by piercing his stomach with the sword. If you do more research on the crucifixion, you'll find out that the soldiers are very strict with their work, and if they fail to do their job, they can be killed. So they always make sure that whoever is crucified is dead, and they don't show mercy on whom they're crucifying like you're trying to tell.

Jonah wasn't killed in the belly of the whale but survived. If I say I have a foot in the grave does it mean I'm dead? If a prophet uses parables why do you take it so literally. The sign of Jonah is one of the biggest point that Jesus would survive the crucifixion as did Jonah also survive his ordeal. The next point is one you already mentioned in your comment. When the soldiers priced his side blood and water gushed out. Anyone knows that when a person dies, his blood starts t clot and become harder. The fact that the soldiers pirced an artery and blood gushed out is proof that his heart was beating and he lived. There are more points but I hope these 2 will atleast help you open your eyes.

Not clear on your last statement where you say “Jesus continued living life post crucifixion until he died” doesn’t the Quran say Jesus was raised up to the heavens while on the cross? Therefore he’s alive in heaven until his return during the end times?

The only thing I will give, is that David Wood asserts a traditional Muslim narrative. However, this is absolute cherry picking and I would recommend you watch all of DWs video and inspiring philosophy’s debate about whether Jesus died on the cross. This has all been refuted.

David explains why he does that and it makes perfect sense. Since Ahamdis are very small percentage of the Ummah and arent considered Muslim by nearly all Sunnis and much of the Shias. I find it the Ahamdiyyas are the best debaters in the Islamic community. JakeDaMuslimMetaphysian and Daniel Hikachu got destroyed by a Ahamidyya professor. BTW David has a good friend who is Ahamidyya as well and they are still good friends. David does not hate Muslims. He even said he disagrees with Donald Trumps Agenda 47 cause its too exterme. Thats one issue I disagree strongly with David. I support total ban of people coming to US and the West from Muslim countries.

If Muslims don't go immediately into Paradise after they die, then Muslims are cursed when they die. So the understanding of the Deuteronomy 21:23 verse is that Jesus died, taking our curse upon Himself, so all who repent will not die a cursed death. And after 3 days, Jesus' soul was returned to his body. Therefore, Jesus is alive and didn't truly die on the cross.

It’s better to believe to the accounts of witnesses nearer Jesus’ time than someone ( with questionable character and life ) who does not know Jesus and lived 600 years after Christ. And saying and agreeing that Jesus will come again to judge the living and the dead - certainly that is a Godly role. Hence Jesus is God.

Make no mistake, Jesus is God and yes Jesus was crucified and raise again. To understand Jesus, you need to know why he came . In Isaiah God said behold I will come to make new heavens and new earth. Yes Jesus came to create again. Why did God needed to do this ? Becouse His old creation was corrupted by satan through Adam and eve. Sin enter the world, andwe got cut of from God. Sin is the reason for ever affliction. That is why Jesus established a new covenant with His blood for the remission of sin. By living in communion whith God, we partake in God's nature, and become a new creation. For islam to be true, means God change is mind . Becouse first he fulfilled the old covenant, the one he ordained with the prophets, and established a new one.then 600 years later he whent back to the old one with Muhammad. David wood he is a protestant Christian. There for he knows little about Christianity. But Muhammed is a false prophet. Virgim Mary said so.
