First of all: I FUCKING KNEW IT!!!!! ANDREW IS PRETTY MUCH A PRODIGY!!!!! As not only is he said and shown to be smart as fuck, along with being kind of athletic(In the apartment doesn't count, as he is starving), but It was only after HE called that Lord Unknown appeared. And now, we can see that even from youth he had the talent to call for this type of creatures. Second of all: If by "vegetables", the demon meant "humans that aren't dead nor alive", then his contract was fulfilled. But It seems that Andrew needs to be in a certain state of mind for the Demon to create a connection(He only took interest in Andrew in the Burial, and It was only in Burial that he ate his parents, so It must be a mindset sort of thing). Not to mention that, it also align itself to Decay when Ashley is explaining her reason to eating people and how it feels "It's like if I eat someone, I'm eating their entire life so far. Like everything they've known and felt, I'm consuming all of that. And if I could turn that into some sort of energy, I'd be all powerful.", It's not only how she feels, but I have a theory that it is some type of foreshadow to the future. And third of all: The contract that the Demon made with Andrew was simply "You appear and I consume for you", but it seems that something more happened, as those flowers are from the other dimension. So Andrew MUST have something of special if the Demon is willing of going this far for someone. Wow, I love this game. So much Lore.

i feel like nemlei will add some more flashback thingys depending on what route you chose in chapter 2. if u went with the decay route u would see more things that would show the siblings or at least one of them aren't fond with each other. but with burial you would see more of a loving tone with the siblings which can add to the game and show just from the beginning their love or hatred. also amazing vid lecty keep it up

I honestly believe that picture with Andrew looking crazy is him actually being fully possessed by the demon and the demon now has access to the human world through Andrew. Effectively becoming a human and a demon at the same time. The Demon circle on the ground looks completely different than the ones that we’ve seen so far in the game also there are no candles to be seen nor runes. It looks like he probably spawned from that circle from the demon world to that location on earth. Pay close attention to the wording too in that screenshot (There exists people “in this world” Who find camping “a delightful experience.”) It sounds like “someone” is literally just discovering this like it is legitimately new to them. But I hiiiiighly doubt it’s new to Andrew....

@@lectrynnThanks appreciate it! another thing to remember is that demons don’t think much of humans as It said in the demon instruction book, this means that demons only do business for itself and I’m pretty sure when it wants to make a deal with a human, it makes sure to get the better end of the deal no matter what. Also remember that in one of the screenshots in a previous dev log, Andrew actually tries to make a deal with the demon and sounds desperate while doing so Also remember in the decay vision where Ashley was wondering why there was an axe and firewood? I guess the demon likes campfires and camping?

Yeah I was thinking about it for a little bit and then just came up to that conclusion mostly due to Andrew’s expression and talking like he was an alien that just landed on earth and learned English language for the first time or somethin... it was really weird to me. Then After I saw the circle with no candles or runes I was like aaaaahhhh... I think I got it... One last thing I would like to add that I just thought of is that remember the narrator said rather sarcastically, “Never has it ever been a bad idea to make deals with devils.” And in that dev log that I was talking about again, Andrew desperately wanted to make a deal with the devil. This looks to be the possible aftermath of said deal if the demon agreed.

0:38 yeah i agree i also think she is crying like that because Andrew hit her, they already teased two times in optional moments in chapter 2 with the idea of him slapping her, now what i am the most curious is in what route that would happen, because there could be very diferent implications in both in Decay it would be the more obvious one since Andrew is getting more and more angry at Ashley with her bullshit and we already know it will get into a point of him killing her Now if it is in Burial it would be even more interesting in my opinion since in this route although him and Ashley are doing well she notices and starts gettings a little scared with Andrew becoming way too cold and uncaring to anything so maybe it got to a point were he is not caring even for her, which if it ever gets to this point Andrew basically becomes a full on psychopath

Honestly, I really like Andrew as a protagonist, but as a person? he is someone who is quite cold, a liar and disingenuous, he lies twenty-four hours pretending to be someone normal who he is not, he didn't even care if Júlia did self-harm or not, he even told Júlia to wear the same hair style as Ashley, Júlia it's just a disposable tool for him to use when he feels like doing things with Ashley, Andrew is such a liar that even his own mother fell for his trick, as she had her son's falsehood and lies, like mother like son literally xd . Andrew has a dark soul, the very neutral burial ending shows his soul as red and dark, a demon's soul, he didn't even have remorse for helping Ashley to pass away Nina in the box on the contrary, he was just worried about the police taking the His Ashley, he's always been like this since he was a child, but he has a victim complex, so he always makes drama in the game by pretending to be Ashley's poor victim, of course Ashley uses Nina's execution as a way to keep Andrew around but in truth, Andrew never wanted to leave Ashley, he doesn't accept Ashley having relationships with the guards or the occultist nor does she sell her own body, he says he would correct her if she tried to get away from her. sell, he is obsessed and possessive like Ashley but he pretends to be someone normal (mask of sanity). He himself uses Nina's death to defend Ashley about her abusive behavior towards Júlia.

I understand some of the updates well somewhat to why it looks like Ashley is crying perhaps she heard or witnessed something about Julia and Andrew/Andy meeting up having a chat that she seems to be suspicious about with envy as well jealousy she also could be assuming that they are getting back together when it is clear that he wants nothing to do with her he only wants Ashley, one of the updates of when Andy/Andrew was a child he perhaps have accidently triggered a demonic summoning or possession over Ashley/Leyley (since you hear a guttural like screech with Ashley/Leyley name over the text box yet he assumed was Ashley/Leyley messing around trying to jump scare Andrew/Andy) or could be having a nightmarish dream sequence vision similarly to when Ashley/Leyley had one about Andrew/Andy a few times yet you can tell that she does not want to be on Andrew/Andy dark side or want to hurt him add herself or there is something else that a piece of them that is their dark counterpart are actually Demonic possession or a curse mark growing over them, i doubt he knew about the circle and candles or who and what responded to him without arranging any actual deals Perhaps Andy/Andrew is setting up a ritual for Julia in one of the other parts of Chapter 3, i hope nothing bad happens to COAAL, the main characters and their relationship, i theorize that decay was a false ending and a parallel envisioned delusion the whole entire time since they virtually have died or one of them each were killed off by one another which are routes that the Demons were making them visualize and it is what the Demons do want them to do plus there should not even be any alternative endings in Chapter 3 since they are basically dead or one of them have died while Burial actually opens up to the next chapter while the characters are still alive we will likely see more character development. .
