Shri Vasudev is adding a lot of masala to what Buddha said about the existence of God. This particular incident was one off his true position with regard to three individuals. He had explained to Ananda later as to why he gave contradictory replies to the three persons as to existence or non existence of God . Buddha was always emphatic that there was no Creator -God & there was no static Athma. These two revolutionary truths are the very foundation of Buddhism.
