So...cheap road trip hotel rooms. This is my take. You know how when you are camping and there is a bear? The joke is that you don't have to out run the bear, you just have to run faster then your friend. Same with hotel rooms. You don't have to spend top dollar, you just have to spend $10 more then what someone on crack might spend. Skip the $50 hotel if that is the cheapest one, and get the $60 hotel, and you are golden.
