Caleb already goes through his reads better than Justin is now. Caleb reads defenses better than Justin does now. In 2 games Caleb has a better understanding of what he sees than Justin does in 4 years. So don’t say Fileds just needed weapons. He has weapons in Shittaburgh but I don’t see him going off! The team is winning there but he’s not winning games. He’s managing games still in year 4. If you haven’t watched every single Justin Fields game in the NFL as a Bears fan you have no idea what you’re talking about. If you have watched and after these first two games you think Fields is anywhere near as talented as Williams again, you have no clue.

I told someone years ago in a conversation about football, the qb is the moat important piece on the field but he shouldn’t be the best. If your qb is the best player on your team, you have bad management, your qb just needs to be capable of doing the right things at the right time. Troy Aikman is a classic case of this someone who just 3 years ago was ranked 89 on the all time qb list but he got HARDWARE

Redskins/Commanders fan, here. Sounds EXACTLY like it. Jayden has been doing, just that. Using his running game, throwing to Eckler and Ertz, as well. Has only attempted one deep pass and missed. Deep passes are actually Jayden’s specialty. Was asked to do so a lot @ LSU. Kliff Kingsbury is letting Jayden get comfortable enough. Soon, he’ll go for the deep passes and take more chances.
