Idk man. This is my perspective on it. Every single season every NFL team attempts to build an elite roster through the off-season, draft and FA's to build chemistry and develop into a powerhouse NFC & AFC to reach the" Super Bowl", which is hands the ultimate goal of every single team in the league and their coaching and executive staff... So why would getting just an MVP award be more important or valuable than helping your team win 2 Super Bowls against perhaps the greatest NFL Dynasty we will ever see in the New England Patriots? It wouldn't because having 2 Lombardies and rings over other elite HOF QBs speaks for itself.
