Yeah, I imagine he was a very paranoid person when he was human. His backstory would probably be that he was a normal photographer, and then he accidentally killed someone after they startled him, sending him into a downward spiral and eventually becoming a mutant

I like this guy! He is a character but just in an animated style, not creepy at all! It is easy to see how he became the ice cream man and you portrayed it perfectly! Great story telling too! I will put in another “plug” for classic monster creatures and mythical creatures too. Theory: in this universe, you become a mutant if you have very VERY strong feelings/emotions towards something. The ice-cream man is obsessed with his ice-cream truck. The photographer was probably obsessed with taking pictures. The farmer is obsessed with his crops. The seamstress is obsessed with sewing. The mother was overly obsessed with her children, ect.
