I do...a good friend did dirt work ( dug out house foundation) and we took trees down on his property that were sketchy so he could build his shop

It was just starting to feel a little like Spring here in Maine .. our garden was drying out, maple trees starting to bud, birds chirping in the morning. And then today we got 18" of snow! 😭😭😭 I can't take it anymore lol. Is it feeling like Spring there?

I think that was a great barter Jen. I would have done it in a heartbeat. Those are awesome mitts. We barter all the time with our wood products. My husband is bartering with a dentist for dental work for Myrtlewood items/flooring.

That's a super barter! Lots of hours involved in both parties barter items. I've done hides and that alone is time consuming let alone the tanning ect....as well as taking seeds out of produce.... ! I used to barter my sawmill time making lumber for a guy and he came here to the farm and did a couple days of back hoe work. Beautiful mits you got!

Those look like awesome mitts! I think I paid over $60 for a pair of surplus carrier deck mitts that only have fur on the back side to warm your face, and leather palms. No sherpa lining! I woulda paid $150 for those easy! Nice deal!

I was at the grocery store and their seeds have gone up just a bit but it's becoming too expensive to buy them and they didn't have what I wanted anyway I have seeds and I need to straighten them up while I'm planting them this year and put the extras away nice I got 5 bags down to one bag of seeds 😂 lots of paper bags 😂
