Small updates are great I mean look at Buzzy Bees. It only added a few things not even a biome and they were incredible. The only issue that I see like Dan said is there needs to be a reason to go to the biome. That's what's separating this update with Buzzy Bees. Crossing my fingers these aren't the only things in the biome.

@@Flash-FireCC yeah 100%, for now the only real reason to go there is because of the new blocks, which are definitely cool, but yeah there definitely should maybe be something else to make it really worth the adventure. Regardless, for a small update, still quite a lot in terms of we finally get the bundle, we get a completely new biome, an awesome new wood set and a new mob, all in all, not too bad!

Personally, I was really upset with the trailer and planned on never going to the theaters, but after hearing Dan, his experiences with being on set, and watching the behind the scenes stuff with explanations for why certain decisions were made, I may just give the movie a second chance to prove itself.

I love the Pale Garden and Creaking as they are, but I do think they need more, so here’s my suggestion. It may be a bit far fetched, but I’ll say it anyway: Look at the creaking heart. What does it look like? It looks like a pale oak log with a big hole going through it. And when active, that hole fills with an orange glow. And when that glow is present, a puppet - the Creaking - is spawned directly from it. So I believe that this orange glow is most likely a soul that lies dormant within a regular pale oak log which it has claimed as its host, until it meets the right conditions, which allows it to cast its puppet into the world, where it has its own unique behaviour. Based on this assumption, I think Mojang should add a mob (or particle. The actual classification of it isn’t important to this idea) called the Creaking Soul, which is released when a creaking heart is broken without silk touch. Think about it. Isn’t it weird that this soul just completely disappears if you break the heart without silk touch? The soul’s behaviour is based on trying to find a host. It flies around and can phase through non solid blocks, but otherwise interacts with the world like any other entity, colliding with and pathing around solid blocks, and is pushed by liquids. It cannot be killed in any way. Only contained. Its priority is to fly towards the nearest non-pale mob (a pale mob is a mob inhabited by a creaking soul. Creakings are classified as pale mobs by default, meaning the cannot be inhabited, and will not be patched to) within a sixteen block radius. Next in priority is to fly towards the nearest pale leaves block within a thirty two block radius, where it will fly around it and nearby pale leaves aimlessly until a non-pale mob is detected within a sixteen block radius, which it will fly to as that is higher in priority. And if neither of these conditions are met, it will fly towards the player who released the soul (whether by breaking a heart or by killing a pale mob), or the nearest player if there is no player associated with releasing of the soul, or if that player is offline. If it is pathing to the nearest player and another player comes closer to the soul than the target, said player becomes the new target. Similarly, the soul will follow the other two priorities over pathing to a player if it happens to meet the conditions. The creaking soul and pale mobs load chunks in a 3x3 grid around them, in order to allow them to travel no matter how far away they are from a player. When a soul comes into contact with a non-pale mob, the mob will change to its pale version, which is a greyscaled version of the regular mob, with its eyes replaced by the eyes of the creaking. As for the behaviour of the mob, it will have 50% more health, strength, speed, and jump height. It will constantly try to path towards the player who released the soul most recently, or the nearest player, if there is no associated releaser, until within an eight block radius of its target, at which point it will behave as the normal version of the mob. Killing a pale mob drops the mob’s regular drops, but will also free the soul. Even if someone was associated with releasing the soul before this host died, if the host is killed by something unassociated with the player, the soul will not recognise any player as its releaser. If a soul comes into contact with a player (only if the player is its target), the player has all the same effects as pale mobs, except the player is free to move as they want, and their skin is not changed, rather they have an orange glow surrounding them. As this is quite overpowered, the soul is immediately released if the player takes at least one point (half a heart) of damage, and the player cannot be inhabited by any creaking soul for the next two minutes. Creaking souls can be captured in a bottle, and can be used in a crafting table in the following layout: one quartz in each corner, one pale oak log on each of the four edges, and one bottled creaking soul in the middle, to make a new music disc, with a texture of a slightly greyish white outline, a main surface of pale oak, and an orange glowing centre. Or, it can be crafted in the following layout: one of the same type of any leaves block in each edge, and one bottled creaking soul in the middle, to create four glowing leaves, which are purely ambient blocks, being just regular leaves of any kind but with an orange glow inside them, taking up the full inner space of the block. If a glowing leaves block is in direct contact with a regular leaves block, the regular leaves block will have an animation of the orange glow entering the block from the already glowing block, lasting two seconds (during which it is still classified as a regular leaves block, and can still be picked up as one), after which it becomes a glowing version of itself. Four glowing leaves blocks of the same kind, one in each edge slot of a crafting table, with one soul sand in the middle, will make four soul glowing leaves blocks, which behave and look exactly like their regular glowing equivalents, but have a blue glow instead of an orange one. For all of these recipes, except for the soul ones, you will also get the bottle back. I spent way more time typing this than actually thinking about it. I came up with this whole concept in about ten minutes the other day. I spent about an hour typing this. Let me know what you think!

Some context about why hardcore has taken so long to appear on bedrock: -Stability: for the longest time, bedrock couldn’t even be remotely considered stable enough to risk playing in hardcore. It’s only recently that bedrock has been reliable enough to attempt adding such a thing. Spectator: the further away from the start of a project that a feature is added, the more difficult it is to add it. Java had spectator really early on. Bedrock didn’t. As such, they likely had to make a great number of changes, since things were designed without spectator in mind. As such, they had to both do a ton of bugfixing work and implement spectator, then hardcore. Cool thing about hardcore being on bedrock though, it’s harder to cheat out of it. The easiest way to do it(other than backups) requires looking through files and knowing what to alter. A fair bit more difficult than having it be accessible as an option accessible within menus.

If you don't get people interested, they won't see it. The number of people who saw the trailer but didn't watch the update/see Dans reasoning to not overreact is likely astronomical. And it's those people they lose viewership from. People aren't going to waste time seeing a movie staff pretended sucks, even if it doesn't. I'm sure many wont out of spite in that regard as well.

Im glad they added some context to why they made it live action, why they named the movie and why they did it all the hardwork they done to make it live action. I have high respects on this movie doing well. My only problem is that the mobs live designs especially the sheep and llama.
