If you decide to flip the tire and run it, scuff the area in and around the cut with sandpaper and put some RTV in and on and past the cut. Put about 4 ounces of Slime in the tire before you mount it.

Boys need a sponsor on the front nose piece. Maybe Budweiser
@hillbillyredneck4 жыл бұрын
I agree about the nose sponsor, just not a alcohol sponsor. Yes, I know a sponsor helps just pay for stuff and gets you to the track every time you need to be there BUT, when you have Jesus saves, or Jesus is Alive on the back well. There again it's just my personal thing. But a nose sponsor would be cool.
@1962markstubson4 жыл бұрын
Roy I was just kidding about Budweiser it be nice to have a local sponsor on there maybe a tire deal,helmet tear offs just something.

Thanks for the video. Good job 👍. Sometimes you can change the size of the steering wheel to help slow things down. Just saying. The servo would help him out also. He's probably worried bought not being able to dodge trouble quick enough. Jess you'll see that the reason there changing it up is in fact to help you out with handling the car... See you all later.

Floor scraper for concrete does a great job for cleaning mud off and it has a longer handle for reaching under car ?
@chriswolcott88824 жыл бұрын
I would go with the stiffer one
@tonyadams4274 жыл бұрын
Hey Jonathan, y’all should try to do what Bo and Heath Minor do to wash their race cars. They spray Simple Green out of a pump up sprayer onto a dry car (after getting the big thick spots of mud off). Then let it sit for a couple of minutes and spray it off. No scrubbing!!! Just a thought.
@DannyWalker2474 жыл бұрын
I think the .235 is pretty much standard for dirt. You need fast steering to make those quick recoveries. Jesse just needs more seat time to lose that nervousness. You need to rig some type of shield under that rack or those boots will continue being destroyed.
@kenobusek66504 жыл бұрын

When I raced dirt street stocks,I used non stick cooking spray on every part of the car collected mud.I would get back into the pits after hot laps and heat race and bang on the car to get the mud off,then wipe off the rest and respray the car before the next race of the night.Give it a try.
@hillbillyredneck4 жыл бұрын
Even though it isn't much difference on the steering, it would help to tighten it up a little. With Jesse, he may need to go even tighter and then back off to the 235 later. It may justify learning the difference later down the road.
@darrellswaney10644 жыл бұрын
Yes Jesse needs the 235 servo
@patwarson2174 жыл бұрын
I run mine stiff I believe they are 235's maybe stiffer,it's hard to turn unless you are really moving I had a really light one for awhile but had the same trouble I go to set my slide up and end up doing a 360 in traffic replaced a bunch of sheet metal before someone said hey dummy run a 235 had no clue I could change all that until then
@threeaxis3594 жыл бұрын
Jesse I would consider the stiffer servo as well if you have fast reflexes it will help you. Because your quick reflexes could be what causes you to over correct then you go into a sawing affect. When my older brother raced he had super fast reflexes and had to run a 1.5 :1 quick steer box it originally had a 2:1 and he had that same problem of over steering with the 2:1. So the 2.35 may make a big difference in your wheel control. Over steering scrubs off speed and sometimes causes you to back off the throttle. To all the people who comment when you give information to someone on what to do always try to explain why, so it is positive criticism in a positive way. When you don't try to explain why, it is negative criticism in a negative way. I would have to believe Jesse wants to read your comments for information to help him and have them presented in a positive way.
@jongolliher38064 жыл бұрын
I wish more folks understood that a simple explanation along with a suggestion as you say does indeed make it positive sounding. One of those simple little things that make a big difference. :) I very much agree with all you're saying.

Its the close racing that people want to see and will watch over and over again and tell their friends. Winning the race without any action is boring and people will not watch it again.....Another commenter mentioned Cleetus McFarland and you guys getting onto Cleetus' new podcast. Totally agree and vice versa. Cleetus is a damn good driver. I would suggest letting him drive Jessie's car on a dirt track. And maybe he will let one of you drive the blue corvette drifter car on his asphalt track. Maybe during the off season when content is slow. Maybe do the mutual podcasts first and then plan for the off season content that you both will need then.
