Just a tip from an old dirt tracker... use a floor jack lifting that heavy stuff! At 64 things I did like that back when I am paying for now. Tip #1.

Yep and Ive been to 30+ F1 Grand Prix with no ear plugs, and now in my 50s I dont sleep at night because of screaming tinitus, plus I had a back operation because of too stupid lifting when I was younger!!

Definitely was thinking the same thing. Love this channel. These guys know what they're doing but sometimes it's the simple things that make a job go a lot easier. Sometimes when you get used to doing certain things the same way over and over again you don't think of easier ways to do it. But with age comes wisdom and knowledge. I'm sure they will figure out an easier way to change a rear-end and if not, they are still very entertaining watching them do it the hard way lol.

when you are used to workin on your own a lot, you would sit the rear end on the jack behind the car, drop the rear shackles, push rear end into place on the jack, reconnect shackles and let rear end down onto springs... done it heaps.

I used to tote oxygen or acetylene tanks on my shoulder,man handle heavy steel into out of the way tight places, bend my body in a pretzel shape to get in under dumps trucks! “TAKE CARE OF YOUR BACK” please! I’m dealing with spinal and spinal cord issues,hardware in my neck and low back ain’t nothing can replace factory parts in your body!
