a suggestion for taking off and putting hitch balls on a ball mount. Insert the mount sideways into a receiver hitch on your truck with the bolt horizontal, so that when you put the wrench on the nut, pushing down on the wrench will loosen (or tighten.. depending on what you need). Then you can get more leverage on the bolt, without having to worry about trying to figure out a way to clamp the ball mount. Of course using a HUGE pipe wrench always helps! 😎

In today’s episode we watch Kevin struggle wildly with the ball hitch, but then he remembers the ever handy tractor with the hitch that’s rest to go. lol Great video.

Do you have a good radio voice? Maybe you can do our intros Mr. Sawyer! I wanted to use the side by side vs the tractor... that didn't work out did it... Thanks for watching. I'll be in touch with another video intro for you!!!! Kevin

Interesting video, I guess that's a newer version of a hay rake than the one we used back in the 50's. Brings back lots of memories.

It is a little different Mr. Conner. I have used the roller rakes like you're talking about. They are nice too. I used to have one when I lived in Powhatan. Though I never made hay with it. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts! Always great to see you on the channel. Kevin

Please you have to make more videos like this. Why not do the first one of you bolting the press to the floor 😜👍🇨🇦🔧

On that trailer hitch, try sliding it your receiver on your truck to break the but loose. Slide it in the receiver so the ball is positioned to the side, horizontally. That will give you maximum leverage. You can put some body weight on extension that you installed on the wrench handle it you need to.

Dee ta Dee... I'm an idiot! Thanks Mr. Hardy for giving me that suggestion. Sometimes I get so involved I don't think of outside possibilities! Thanks for watching and sharing that awesome tip! Kevin

lol first time I discovered that method after I struggle with removing a ball hitch. I used the bench vise & other attempts. Finally after an hour my Dad who’d been watching amused told me to do what you just suggested lol.

Green paint is expensive lol. I have a mid size compact JD. I’ve gotten parts from the same place you mentioned, much better pricing.
