For anyone who didn’t know, in this fan manga, Turles is actually Goku’s cousin. Bardock had an older sister named Tevina who was an elite warrior. In Age 730, She ended up getting pregnant by a low ranking Saiyan soldier named Aido, who was also a Sargent in Bardock’s squad. She secretly surrendered Turtles to the Saiyan army as to not shame her name for having a child with someone of a lower status Turtles would then be sent off to a planet as a baby to conquer it, just like Goku. However, Turles succeeded and returned to Frieza when he was 14. 4 years later, Turles would desert the army and flee to a galaxy where Frieza would never be able to find him. There, Turles would run into Slug who had conquered the entire galaxy that Turles had sought refuge in. Turles sensed that Slug was stronger than him and begrudgingly agreed to work for him. Years later, Slug would find out about the Tree of Might. He would go on to eat 2 fruits-the first fruit gave Slug his youth back and the 2nd one exponentially increased his power. Turles, seeing his opportunity to overthrow Slug, would then steal 3 fruits to power himself up and challenge Slug to a death match In that battle, neither of them would emerge alive or victorious. Both died in Age 765 (about 1 year after Goku had killed Mecha Frieza and King Cold on Earth). Neither of them ever ran into Goku or the Z Fighters while they were still alive. Looks like Mondo forgot to include that information in this video

I really liked how the Future Human Z-Fighters were involved in this since Gohan and Piccolo are dealing with Janemba. 🙂 This also can give us an idea of how strong Gohan and Piccolo really are against Janemba. It's a cool idea of having Movie Villain characters involved here and having their own story, too, since it seem like l they don't know the Z-Fighters here. 👍 Huh? No Cooler and his Armored Squadron, I wonder if this means they are alive and are somewhere in space still? 🤔

Mondo, I want you to know how much I enjoy your videos. As a lifelong DB/DBZ fan, I could never get into reading manga no matter how hard I tried to, it just never clicked with me. These videos though, these are awesome! Like, the source material is crazy good but without your flourishes in presentation, it wouldn't be something I could experience. I'm not meaning to diminish the work of the manga writers at all, this story is awesome and to be honest, makes me wish Toriyama had had the guts to do something like this back in the day. One thing that CONSTANTLY bugs me whenever i think about (no matter the timeline) it is "why didn't Gohan ask Piccolo, Krillin or Tien to learn the Multiform Technique. That way he could both study and train. He could even find a way to perfect the technique with his intelligence."

I don’t think the multi form technique works like that. Seemingly the clones don’t really have much of their own thoughts and are controlled through your actions. So you wouldn’t be able to fully focus on either task

It'll be cool to see Gohan and Piccolo take on Jenemba. I'm hoping we even get to see a new fusion warrior. I will say though, it's funny how this series first used the established Buu lore that when you die and go to hell (according to Kami/Piccolo), your soul is cleansed (hence Vegeta not training with everyone in Otherworld and being confused upon being wished back to life on the lookout) but then here we have the inhabitants of hell still maintaining their bodies. I guess because the souls were all released, their bodies were too? No point in overthinking it, just thought it was always weird how Vegeta shows up in the Jenemba movie despite what Piccolo said about Vegeta not being able to claim his body in the afterlife.

I think Vegeta keeping his body is explained to be, partly his participation in the Cell Games, to have someone raise baby Trunks and because Goku was asking persistently.

Just caught a theory: I always that that the Soul Cleansing Tech was named Janemba... However, Im thinking now this - when the vats exploded and engulfed the horned kid, he turned to his manager and in confusion stared at him and begin to say, "Ja... nem...ba?" Could it be that seeing his manager, he began calling out to him? Could it be that when the manager elf cried out to him that the kid was crying for Janemba to help him? Follow me further... the second demon elf or whatever he is told Yemma that "he" was here! What did the now 25 foot creature say looking into the hard cased checkpoint station? "Janemba!" He said in excitement. That manager was there as well! The fat demon creature now full of negative energy see him and calls out to him by name because he's alive!!! There's my theory. Janemba is actually the old spirit elf.

Perhaps Bulma will get together a time traveling expedition together to save her baby boy. And since she and the future Z-Fighters have no idea of a Future-Future Cell using her Time Machine to return to the Past and being the real reason Future Trunks died they might make the mistake the androids were the ones responsible. A good thing Goten and Krillin took care of that problem. Can’t wait for this version of Goten meeting Future Gohan and Krillin.
