Hey I’ve got some really great news to share with you, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died on a cross and resurrected on the third day so you may all have eternal life. If you believe and repent of your sins and put your faith and trust in Him as you would a parachute jumping off a plane at 25000 feet up in the air, He will give you eternal life in heaven as a free gift and I promise you, He will change your life forever as He did mine. He is the ONLY way to heaven and He loves you all. Please think deeply about this with urgency because this is your eternal life and soul, you don’t know when you could die, meaning you could die at any moment, so please consider this with all your heart. If anyone tells you that Jesus isn’t the only way, they are lying to you and they don’t care about your future.

Just to be clear, going ghost mode is letting go of distractions but disappearing from the face of the earth in the true sense isn't particularly good because as much crap as you feel inside you there are still people that truly love you like your family, you just don't let their opinions impact your final goal.. but you can still have some type of communication with them.

yeah, people often confuse things here. to me the real meaning is to be only around good people you are close to, while ignoring not so good ones and those who are just there, no matter what kind of people they are. to me it is about limiting social media and less socialising, but working on your health, improving your life and making your dreams come true instead. it is about rejecting conformity for something better. also, it is about not telling a single soul what are you up to, and then surprising them with the results. i hope that i will last for a year this time. I tried to disappear for the entire year of 2023, but in the march some bad things started happening and dealing with them became a top priority. i still accomplished so much in the two and a half months that it surprised me. I am not telling a single soul about it all yet because I am not done. Tomorrow is my birthday and I am starting again. Hope that the life won't trow another huge bad thing at me this time.

I think this is a neccessity for any young man. I made the most progress at the start of the 2020 lockdowns when I went ghost and grinded. I did see it important to return somewhat when I had got most of the way there, it can be easy to disappear forever and keep solo grinding but its important to phase back in the people who really care about you after a few months so the friendships and relationships don't burn out or keep close friends close.

Ghost mode is not sustainable and if do sustain it, what a sad /wasted life. Coming from a guy who actually did this for more than a year. Not worth it. Balance of everything is what i found made my life rich. It's a personal choice. If you think really hard, it's terrible advice to go into this kind of mode where your ignoring important people in your life. You have limited time with parents and your loved ones and you came to this earth naked and you will leave naked. All the achievements will stay on ground. If you live like this you will just end up depressed alone , successfull maybe but it's not worth having success if there is no one else around to share your success with. This is only my opinion, everyone can make up their own minds but the whole point of ghost mode should be to refocus on your goals and this should be done daily in specific time frame so that you keep everything balanced.
@abhinav7321 Жыл бұрын
totally agreed, I too was in a "ghost mode" for quite a long time and came out with massive ego, selfishness and feeling utterly disgusted. I do not regret going ghost mode but what I've realized is that its better not to take that approach as you'd only be getting farther away from your goals. We must not get stuck to that vicious cycle of perfectionism for it brings ruin to you and your surroundings. Try approaching your goals with more social exposure, who knows maybe you'd find a better goal along the way or it'd be much easier and fruitful to reach there. Also most people who encourage this "ghost mode" are the ones who have goals such as: greater wealth, being rich, beating competition, narrowing mindset to only one particular thing and other such materialistic goals. remember the difference between working hard and working like a donkey.

Even once successes are achieved, you’ll still be lonely because even though you made a meaningful effort to add value to your life (mere existence) doesn’t mean that those around you have. My entire family are resentful towards me now that I’m a fully functional adult. It’s like they are upset with me because I grew up. I don’t relate to anyone professionally (most are NPCs) and even traveling I find so many people are broken and envious and always want something and incapable of being self resourceful. Yes it’s lonely being alone but sometimes it’s a means to SURVIVE.

I really needed this video. I actually came to realization that I need to improve my life for the better around last year but I didn’t act upon it until 6-7 weeks ago. I was in a good flow, sleeping and waking up early, actually making myself breakfast every morning and hitting the gym 4 or 5 days a week. That was until I damaged my car and was told I need to pay $2.3k out of pocket. On top of this new bill I had to cover my car note, rent, insurance and a plethora of other things. I fell into a hole of depression and stopped working out much, I started staying up late again and sleeping till past noon. I was missing appointments and promises I made with family. I went right back to square one. This video made me realize things won’t always go my way. I can’t let 1 obstacle stop my progress. I’ll start over again today by going to the gym this evening. The gym is also what helped me sleep early but without it I’ve been staying up late. I WILL get back to the grind starting right now. Thank you Issa. Wishing you nothing but blessings.

I'm going to turn 20 this year as well so I suppose I am in the same boat as you, more or less. I had already deleted all my posts on Instagram, and basically use it minimally for watching memes and staying in touch with long-distance friends now and then. I am in college away from my home country. I mostly live by myself, trying to juggle study, chores and work while also trying to hold onto and maybe improve upon my hobbies. In a way, I have disappeared too. I consider this time as a student as my exile. I have no interest or will to take pictures of myself and post them online. In fact, I have nothing to post as well because I think that I have nothing to show for. My pfp on my Instagram isn't even mine. It's a picture of an eclipse, as they symbolize a 'great period of change or development'. As long as it may take.

This is probably my first youtube comment in years but this was worth commenting on. I've been in the cave for a year now and honestly I thought it was depression or introversion, but it was way more than that. I killed the old me: super nice, always let shit slide, the guy who put people first before himself - til one day i snapped and isolated myself into this space of reconstruction and reinvention. I stopped caring about everything else except myself and growth. I changed and still evolving and people that came looking for me noticed the difference. Some find intimidating, others found it weird, while others found it inspiring. Idgaf what anyone thinks... I had him at 26, I wasn't ready and things got complicated very fast. I became homeless due to money issues at home, I moved 3 times in the space of 4 months with a new baby and my wife and I'll say this. Through the tears and uncertainty it made me stronger than ever. I still battle with depression and anxiety but I became a beast in the gym, I learnt how to properly love a woman, how to be a father, a husband and what you have said is all true, if you're going to disappear then come back different, everyone is waiting to see you fail (maybe not close family members) but you'll be surprised at who doesn't want you to succeed. The reason these types of videos are usually targeted at men is because society seems to push a lot of men to the background. That doesnt mean self improvement isnt just as valuable for women and girls. Id say it's just as important for the opposite reason. A lot of women and girls are taught to have a falsely inflated sense of self. Which is just as unfulfilling as being made to feel like you're nothing. It might not seem that way on the surface. But deep down id say it's just as painful.

The ‘Nobody Gives A Shit About Men’s Mental Health’ video hit me like a freight train, nothing but pure unadulterated truth in there. Really hoping I’m able to get out of this deep rut I’ve been in since 2020 soon. Things really start to seem pointless after awhile of trying and getting nowhere. But I guess you just have to keep going or die trying. But thanks for being a light in this dark ass world man, all love.

I feel like all my life, there's been people holding me back and i'm sick and tired of it...all it did accomplish is pain, stress, fear, lack of motivation. But after seeing this video about going in "Ghost mode" it really clicked something inside of me..I felt for a brief moment actual peace and peace is something I haven't felt in very long time. So I got a plan and not really sure how it's going to go but First: cut off all communication and let go of stress Second: Do something I love for example "music" "writing a book" etc and let go of fear Third: Start to workout and train my breathing level and let go of pain from either past, present or future Fourth: Get my motivation back and accomplish all my goals in life

Putting yourself first can be a good choice for a while! And to isolate can be necessary if you’re burned out or get super triggered by people due to trauma for example. But in the end of the day, relationships being happiness and chances for self development too. Starving yourself from connection is not something I would recommend in the long run, it’s a basic human need. And also it’s important to have some consideration for the feelings of the people that cares about you 💕.

issa thank you. I wanna thank you for those words, for your time, for everything. I was down so bad after I struggled with my life, no contact with my family since a young age and the death of my father 2 years ago. The gym was the only point that gave me strenght and everything since I'm 15. Still, the demons got bigger and I had suicidal thoughts on a daily base. Bro, this video, when I saw your eyes when you said those things, everybody can see how bad you mean those words and how true you are about yourself. I literally had tears in my eyes because those words, those things you went through and the things you said were exactly those words that I needed to hear. Thank you so much for everything Greetings from switzerland

I’m currently been doing this for the past year and I love it 🤷🏽♀️😂. 2018 was the year I realized how bad I have fallen and how my life was going no where due to laziness & lack of self belief. I was overweight, depressed, and hanging around the wrong people. 5 years later, I’m 70lbs lighter, happier, and now I actually have a career. I slowly started to get off social media in 2019 and last year was the first year where all social media apps were officially deleted

I agree with the sentiment of, “if it works for you then it works.” So if this works for you then awesome. For me personally, I agree with working out, spending time on things you prioritize as actually important rather than what others say is normal or what you “should do.” Though part of that for me is being open to try new things and be more honest with the people around me and understand that I can’t control their actions but only my own. It’s also in cherishing all the small moments, including those times with your mom for tea before she’s all of a sudden gone. Maybe rn I can say, “sorry mom I’m busy today, but I’m free on these days I’d love to see you again.” And prioritize enjoying and focusing on that one thing. I guess what I’m saying is I don’t want to live in regret. But part of that is truly cherishing and living in the moments I currently am in. Enjoy all the side journeys with the main quest.

I see fire in your eyes. I'm worrying in my 18 years old, I don't want to be like everyone. Now I'm doing 100 push ups a day(it's been 2 weeks since I started). Is a small talk but if I put discipline in myself and let my emotions goes. I will become the person I want to be. I watched matrix movie for the first time yesterday. I was shaking watching that, because is like someone knows the information around you and the current relevations in the real world. I jerk off yesterday, because of my shake (I let my emotions created by the system to pull me back). You know I'm addicted to porn and I'm trying to break the bubble surround me. I'm still in school, I'm watching a lot content about matrix, how we have been brainwashed by system, how our mind works towards dopamine and other Quemicals and body language ( this last 2 I started learning and understanding, because I really have interest and it's fascinating identifying behaviors etc). When I was 16 y I was feeling so depressed and my mind was burning out, because of the school. The school puts me into this state of emotions I was deeply inside negative emotions and how I was so dumb, because everyone has better grades instead of me. One tutor teacher, helped me so much. She basically turn 360 degree in my mind. She said to me you are smart and you are not stupid. She told me to say to myself: you are smart you are not dumb etc. Even I don't believe what I'm saying I said and I started to believe in that. The power of mind is completely incredible, your fears is what push you back, you need through that and become the person you want to become.

Id say i have a rare case in which i have somewhere around 15 friends (separated in to 2 groups) that are all actually lifting me up. And i say that after a real assessment (ive been on self improvement for a year or so and my dads passing 276 days ago really improved my judgment) about people) i am also 20 and have already found my purpose in life. I wanna get that ghost mode effect but without actually leaving my friends and my purpose.

Thanks for this video! I actually did go ghost mode- I didn't realize that was the term. But for sure I feel a lot of the comments echo the correct sentiments- you learn who your true friends/family are. I will say though its important to not completely cut people out. I am battling loneliness and its healthy to try and seek solutions to that. Some of us need people to support us during the tough times, but also celebrate the good times with.
