Another purpose of the surveillance cameras, which Disney is not going to admit, is that when a guest claims to have been injured on a ride or elsewhere in a park, investigators can review the footage to see if the guest might be faking it.

@DFBGuide when I went to Epcot I was hoping to get a fireworks dinner package but I was unsuccessful but a tip that I learned is that if you dine at rose and crown around fireworks time they have an area to view the fireworks and will allow you to stand and view the fireworks after dinner if you ask nicely.

The last time we were at Hollywood Studios, we had a reservation at Olga's that was after the park closed. It was great getting pictures of the park with no one in it. We had to walk straight out, no cutting through Toy Story, but the cast members didn't push and let us take our time taking pictures. It was a great experience.

I remember taking my family of 5 to Disney for 5 days in 2002 for about $3000 for everything. Sorry average family you'll need to take out a loan to visit Mega Dollar, I mean Disney World. Oh, and the Fast pass did not cost anything extra.

I actually caught the first full pyro test for Harmonious from my water view room at the Yacht Club back in June 2021. There was no warning at all, probably because this was still when they were still doing distancing at the parks and didn't want guests gathering. But I got awakened at around midnight by it and watched the whole thing from my balcony.

Thank you for the vlog. It helps me with my planning. I have three trips planned this year. Just returned from my first. I loved the Journey of Water. I usually pick up food items from Winne Dixie outside of Disney. This time around, my cousin and I decided to go to Olive Garden outside of Disney instead of a resturant inside Disney for one evening. I always rent a car. It just makes things easier because I travel outside of the park. I am a DVC member and Passholder , so I am able to save on certain items like hotel prices. I also usually go at slow times of the year.

We once saw two belligerent guys in a line raise fists at each other, and within 𝙨𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙨, 4-5 Disney employees came in from nowhere to break it up. If I hadn't been watching closely (due to their loud voices) I would not have seen anything.

I love the Dapper Dans! My first trip to Walt Disney World was with my mom in 2004. We decided to ride on a horse drawn trolley down Main Street. The Dapper Dans hopped on our trolley. They gave us a personal concert, and we talked to them. It was so cool!

There are also a number of rooms at the Polynesian with great fireworks views! Most rooms on the second floor or higher with a direct ccastle view will work just fine.

monitoring was always good on the rides. However, where was security during that infamous ToonTown brawl that went on for several minutes, stopped by the guests?

My son saw "a dad with a fanny pack and a Buzz Lightyear shirt tackle a guy just outside a gift shop" once. I mentioned this to a CM, and she was the one who told us this guy was a security guard chasing a guy who'd stolen something from the gift shop.

Another way to stay after hours, at least at hollywood studios, is to sign up for Savis workshop lightsaber build. You can book the experience until 10 pm some nights and get great pix with an empty park once you’re finished with the build.

Me and my Wife spent a whole day 9hours waiting to ride the Frozen ride in Epcot the day it opened. We got there first thing in the morning and didn’t ride it until 4. We were leaving that day and thought why not? We won’t be back for a long time, it would be cool to ride a brand new ride first. I was wrong for once 😂

I’ve been to Disney so many times and I didn’t know that you can get extra magic hours in the parks I wonder how that works I wish that was a permanent thing because I DON’T like when Disney parks closes early makes me sad love being at the parks late at night how fun is that ❤Disney should make that a permanent thing at Disney parks 😊

Extra Magical Hours are for resort guests. All resort guests get an extra halh-hour before the parks open and deluxe resort guests get an extra (1 hour ?) after the parks close. Probably best to check with the concierge or front desk.

Get a celebration button (ask at the hotel concierge or the park guest relations). This let's all the cast members know the special occasion. Also get one for 1st visit if it is. Start the vacation beforec10th bday and child prices whole stay. Start after birthday and adult prices.

I think Disney outright betrayed the Disabled community with the new qualifications for DAS. I have been getting it for years because of a variety of mental and physical issues and they told me that if I had a panic attack, I could just leave the line and come back later. That is going to cause a lot of concerns, especially with people in mobility scooters as I am. TOTALLY disgusted with Disney and i’m sure there are other ways of cracking down on the 300% increase in the past four years. Covid caused many mental and physical disabilities so for the most part, these people could legitimately need help in the parks.

I mean let's be real, A LOT of people take advantage of the system just to get an advantage. If a line is panic attack inducing then maybe that's not the place for someone prone to panic attacks.

I wonder, how many folks actually use DAS legitimately. Are the changes really going to impact the lines? I used DAS for years but now they can't guarantee if I will qualify. Can't get airfare resort reservations changed to universal that quick!

@@tnwhiskey68 I disagree. So you’re saying that because I suffer from panic attacks, I shouldn’t be at Disney? I shouldn’t go anywhere then because panic attacks can happen anywhere and for any reason. How many places do you go to where you have to stand in a switchback line for 30 minutes or more? Seriously, confined areas with lots of people is pretty unique to amusement parks, so why shouldn’t they make it easier for people who suffering this way? I’m guessing you never had a panic attack.

They were doing the kiosks thing where you could come back for the das back in 2014 so that has not changed I like that you can reserve it and come back. I have family members that have autism and we went back in 2014 and it was very helpful to be able to do this. I am absolutely disgusted by the people that take advantage of these services I do not believe somebody with panic attack should have a DAS I have panic attacks that does not mean I should have a DAS.
