Indeed, its true sir...,Redemptive Suffering is a Grace, for it is a gift from God, that is undeserved un-earned and often times un Asked, in order for us to grow in Holliness in Christ. As St. Pul says: a. ‭Philippians 1:29 NRSV-CI‬ [29] For he has graciously granted you the privilege not only of believing in Christ, but of suffering for him as well- b. ‭Romans 8:17 NRSV-CI‬ [17] and if children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ-if, in fact, we suffer with him so that we may also be glorified with him. c. ‭Romans 5:3-5 NRSV-CI‬ [3] And not only that, but we also boast in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, [4] and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, [5] and hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.

@Michael1 As he went along, he saw a man who had been blind from birth. 2 His disciples asked him, 'Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he should have been born blind?' 3 'Neither he nor his parents sinned,' Jesus answered, 'he was born blind so that the works of God might be revealed in him. 4 'As long as day lasts we must carry out the work of the one who sent me; the night will soon be here when no one can work. 5 As long as I am in the world I am the light of the world. Who's the God of this world? The Demiurg makes alot of sense for that and the suffering within this world. Jesus's farther is not the direct creator of this physical world but the creator of all things.

That's funny. It's more sad though and shows you do not know 'all about' much.

You can't blame anyone for leaving the Catholic Church, just as you can't blame anyone for staying. People need to do what they need to do. I was raised Catholic but am now Catholic in name only.

So what? There won't be suffering in heaven, so we have to suffer here on earth? Why? This makes no sense.

@@MichaelFrankowski-ur1vu suffering leads to spiritual growth. God is building us up for Heaven.

Suffering happens here on earth because of original sin and you can read in scripture what original sin is

This is a whole boatload of words. This guy, like so many others are just making excuses for God. What kind of a God would allow children to be afflicted with cancer and other terrible diseases?! Certainly NOT a loving one! And what kind of God would have Jesus tortured to death?! How can anyone conclude He is not extremely sadistic?! And the Book of Job is more than enough evidence of God's cruelty.
