Most interesting to see the different response to the question from different generations. The young people from their part opened up and were diplomatic, the older aunt wanted to avoid the question.

Many aunties respond in this way about topics not relating to China.

5:40 I think this aunt is paranoid everyone will go to prison for talking about this. gotta go she says politely; you know the subtext.

Paranoid? Subtext? Have you tried doing street interviews? Do you know how many times you’d be rejected? I don’t see any serious issues in rejecting an interview and obviously you over interpreted this.

You should ask them which has a better relationship which China. Korea or the U.S. .they seem to have a good impression Kim even though his country's doesn't contribute to China's economy. But U.S.portraited very badly in Chinese media which is a shame since we have the largest economic ties in the history of the world

Bruno Allen I could answer you this right now. if kim is going to against US, we support him. Fuck US shit. What the fucking right do you have to accuse other country doesn't have human rights since you start most wars all the time? Also you could check what your media says and how your society treat china and Chinese. I doubt you could find anything positive about china in US. We do have economic ties but money is not the only thing matter.
