To achieve a goal, it needs two to tango! But with the current stubborn US Politicians it is questionable they would want to accommodate and work with China

Sir, I have to tell you a very sad news. Now the relationship between the United States and China is very tense. As a Chinese, I am willing to be friendly with the American people, but I can feel that American politicians will not support me. Anyway, I hope that the two countries can coexist peacefully, and only peace can achieve a beautiful world in the future! Thank you, sir.

88 years ago, an American reporter interviewed Mao Zedong in cave dwellings in remote mountainous areas of China. He asked a question about the Chinese government's attitude towards other countries after independence. Mao answered him: "When China really wins her independence, then legitimate foreign trading interests will enjoy more opportunities than ever before. The power of production and consumption of 450,000,000 people is not a matter that can remain the exclusive interest of the Chinese, but one that must engage the many nations. Our millions of people, once really emancipated, with their great latent productive possibilities freed for creative activity in every field, can help improve the economy as well as raise the cultural level of the whole world."--(Red Star Over China, p. 89) This may be what China and the Chinese think today.

Thank you so much for these amazing details as always WenHao. Always great hearing your insights. Learning a lot from you. You’re very correct about legitimate foreign trade. I hope all parties involved can really understand the benefits and let citizens enjoy the advantages that come with it. ✊🏾

"Many people do not like to talk about politics" "What do you think about China? - We don't care about that" "I'm just kind of lucky that I'm getting a few persons who are willing to talk about this" Obviously, what we are seeing here is part of the "real freedom" you talk about from time to time. Certainly not a sign of a dictatorship where people have to worry about the opinions they express publicly, for fear that they might be the "wrong" ones, right? Or would you see this sort of reluctance in democratic countries? Also, regarding the "many different mindsets out here", the people who did want to talk about this all gave basically the same answer. Where do you see the differences, other than the ways they phrased their answers? But good thing there's "Truth!" in the title again...

Willene is not American. I think you is trying to use his China experience to convince the world that China and its people are on the side of peace, not war. ✌✌✌

I’m not American. I’m just a citizen of the world. I think one problem we have in the world today is miscommunication between citizens of every country. Asking these questions and learning from each other is what we need more of. Hopefully more people can realize that the world is a global village.
