What Do I Do? // My Day To Day Life

Here is my little summary of what it is I do. I have had a couple people ask as I have mentioned it in videos but never really spoken about it. So this is for you and anyone else who was in some way interested. Please also do your own research if your even more interested or of course leave any questions in the comments. That is very true I think it is a really worth while experience to live in a community of any kind. Oh yes the gardens and the farm are a really big part of the community here. How have you been ? Enjoying the new year I hope. :)

This was really interesting and inspiring I'm studying art right now but I sometimes feel like it's such egocentric thing and maybe I want to help people as well, I've been doing some volunteering as well which I love to do it's so rewarding! It's great that you're doing this and so inspiring, thanks for the video

I to have felt that way about study and how self indulging it can be. Well I'm glad your finding value in helping others and if your interested to know more about the place I am volunteering feel free to ask. I have learnt so much about my self working with people with developmental disabilities that I would have taken years to learn. They can really teach you so much. I hope your having a lovely day :)

thank you so much for sharing this! :) that sounds exactly like the thing i would like to do after university (i'm currently studying psychology). for how long are you planning on staying? and what would you say are the downsides of volunteering in your community (if there are any)? also, are you rotating jobs? and did you get to choose your position at the coop? again, great video! hope to see more like this in the future. ;)

Haha that is so funny because now after being here I really want to go study psychology. I not sure how long I want to stay here I have committed for a year but they have been asking if I will stay a second. Im thinking I will but not 100% sure just yet. The downsides would be for me is you don't get much time for yourself are you living in the house with the villagers so there is someone around a lot of the time. And other downside but also a good thing is your constantly having to grow and look at yourself and develop as a person which is good but can be hard because its kind of constant you learn to face things here its not like you can run away from anything because its a small community. I hand a little choice because I said I would help run the place. Before coming here for a year I visited for a month to check it out and while i was here got to have a little influence on the work I would do. You do get to have some say like what you would prefer and if you don't like the workshop your in you can always ask for a swap. Feel free to keep asking me question I would be more then happy to help you out. :)

i'd recommend studying psychology to anyone intrested in it, it's such a great subject and it can take you very far! :) thanks, i will probably pester you with more questions in the future. :P

So in the past you've said that you are allotted a small amount of spending money and I was just wondering if you get checks for ads from KZbin sent there and do they care if you're making extra money on the side?

I don't make any money from KZbin not even a cent. I have an adsense account so I could enable live streaming but have not monetized any of my videos at all so hopefully you should not be seeing any ads before my vides or related to them at all. The community itself would not mind if I made extra money on the side but because I'm here in the US with a student visa I don't think I can plus don't have a social security at all so couldn't even get payed if I wanted to. Maybe I could get payed back in Australia or set it up so a pay tax internationally anyway it all sounds to confusing plus not sure my channel is big enough to make any money off ads. Maybe one day if i feel up to it might look into it but for now I'm happy with my spending money i have been able to save quite a lot so far with the no spending challenge.
