What Do I Think About Starlink ?

My experience with Starlink.. I have had nothing but grief with a cell site smart hub, this is the only way to go if you have no other choice for a ISP ..

Hey Skip. We are on our 3rd or 4th year with Starlink now. I have not had to call Starlink for help yet. Previously I would have to call monthly and spent hours on the phone with techs to get our old system operational. With a new ASUS router attached, 150 down and 30-80 up. Starlink is a game changer for us country folk.

Well it is a big improvement alright.. Nothing like fiber but what are you going to do?? I just need to get my old switch router thing changed out to something newer.. Thanks on the comments on the house, its just old poplar and spruce trees, nothing special.. Its home.. Skip

The 66Mbit limit is because of your 100Mbit switch. Connect for testing directly to the starlink and see the difference. I went from 66Mbit to 200-300Mbit.

That router/firewall you have is old and just 100 mbit, you need to replace it to get better speed. I would recommend ubiquti unifi. Or if you are on a budged just get cheap 1000mbit switch....

could this potentially work if installed on a truck? would be nice to have internet on long hauls to the middle of nowhere.

They have different models including a mobile one.. Look it up, Starlink..
