Is it better to just become an independent consultant and reach out to small businesses to have your own timeline? I like consulting but dont want the corporate BS
@yudhveer993 жыл бұрын
*What do management consultants do? Let’s see-* 1. Speak really good English and ensure that the client gets impressed 2. Make really good PPTs and Excel models to hide the client’s BS and present its BS in an attractive manner. 3. Get drained out completely by Partners who choose to understaff the project to save money. 4. Make slides out of nothing for the sake of making slides. 5. As soon as they get good at their work BOOM! They’re rolled off and staffed on another project with a completely different structure and work thereby making good generalists but really poor specialists. 6. POOMA POOMA POOMA!!!! More POOMA! Even more POOMA! But sadly that’s just how the corporate world works. I wish to work for a company where I can grow my skills in one area and consulting just doesn’t do that.
@InsiderGyaan3 жыл бұрын
That's true. Consulting is a generalist field. Infact all strategy roles are. Other functions in industries will make one a better specialist
@yudhveer993 жыл бұрын
