Really enjoyed this video on plumbing systems. I was amazed by how much water we all use each and every day. Water parks use an unbelievable amount of water. Great job by United Association apprentice program.

I want to work on systems like the ones in this video. I’ve done some regular service work and I don’t care for the “selling” aspect of it. I love just repairing and installing. I want to learn more and do this stuff. I hope I can get into the union and work on plumbing systems in hospitals, aquariums, office buildings and so on.

If your lisenced it could be as simple as calling up the union in your area

I am going to apply this year in Orlando. Any tips, I did take plumbing in high school and flipped a few houses. I'm tired of working for dead end jobs and I want to support my family.

The Union isn't strong enough in Tennessee because the company I'm layed off from can keep union and scabs who make less than u and you loose UR job. They only want someone starting out and the members don't stand together anymore. That's the way it is here. I might have to leave the union but I'm trying 2 not leave but I might have no choice

What's the essential difference between an industrial plumber and a pipefitter?
@fitter54235 жыл бұрын
Is that a serious question. An industrial pipe fitter does high and low pressure steam lines, boilers, a lot of welding on big pipe, etc. Plumbers deal with the potable water into the building and the drains going out, medical gas, a lot of underground water and natural gas lines, etc. Do your research bud.
@dakotawheelock28975 жыл бұрын
@@fitter5423 well since posting that question 2 months ago as it clearly says right below my obviously serious question, I have done my research. I'm all good and "edjumacated" now bud. Thanks anyway Sherlock.
@fitter54235 жыл бұрын
Hahahaha edjamacated. I can tell just educated you really are. Hence the retarded question you ask. Just goes to show your mechanical knowledge and skills. ABSOLUTELY NONE. I’m sure your a real superstar in your line of work. SCAB

What´s with the safety glasses in EVERY American video?
@shaneryan53046 жыл бұрын
Nostra Dumbass it’s required on 99% of jobs. Especially with union. It’s one small step that can save your vision. Things can go bad in the (wait for it..) blink of an eye. Seriously though..

It´s still ridiculous, I am a plumber in Germany, and I am very careful about my eyes. I ALWAYS wear eye protection, but only when necessary.
