It was a very long line. And I patiently waited and talked to a friend. When it was finally my turn, the barista said, that the guy in front of me decided to pay for my coffee. At first I was a bit sceptical about his motives. But mostly totally overwhelmed. So I ran after him and asked him why he did it and thankful him. And he replied, that he recently went through a very rough patch in his life. And that he just wanted to make someones day better. Because he felt like, that thong will be brightening up for him from now on.....I have no words to describe how humble d I felt at that moment. I thanked him again, at least 3 times. And wished him all the best for his future. And almost bawled in his face, at my local Starbucks. Needless to say, I shared it on my fb. And whenever FB brings the memory up. 50:25…I had the EXACT same experience! Realized at the register that I left my card in the car…attempting to pay for my coffee.
