We use my phone. We use it own tethering. We have been with 3 for over 20 years. I have all you can eat data on 3 network and it works really. Had no reason yet to change it was have sky internet at home. Great video and info thanks for sharing guys. Paul and Sarah

Nice choice Kevin. I have the Nighthawk and external antenna. Although the external antenna hasn’t been crucial, we’ll see when we go to Cirencester next year, that was a particular black hole for us on O2. I like the idea of moving from house to van, we can’t as we have others at home when we go away. Thanks for the insight and great video. Andy.

We hotspot our phone, have done for the last 8 years and it works for us. Like you said , don't spend money if you don't need too

That's what we are doing at the moment but the signal is rubbish in Devon cliffs. I have 2 Sims as well (02 and 3). Is there a way I can use some sort of link to a hard wired connection at my property in London ..... Sattelite maybe ?

So glad I have seen your excellent video! I almost bought a really expensive outside antenna along with the silly priced Nighthawk beast. You have helped me to decide the route to go, so I shall check on Amazon and see what’s what. Plus we are on EE at home and our mobiles so worth investigating that too! Hi Thankyou very much for your kind words and I'm pleased it has helped. Yes I was in your position, thinking 'do I really need to spend that much?!' then just tried my existing system and found that it worked just fine. Also, if you're in a an area where your phone struggles, as we were at Shardlow Marina, and you want to go for a walk, you can just take the router with you, as I did, and the phone then worked fine.

Hi, thanks for watching - as far as I know, you can't get a replacement battery, it's internal and rechargeable. Mine is still going strong - I'm using it now - the rechargeable battery still lasts about 10-12 hours when unplugged from the mains.

is the m7650 much better then m7350 ? the m7605 is a lot more expensive, double the price of a m7350 .

Hi Jesse, thanks for watching and thanks for commenting. As always, you get what you pay for! The 7650 is better in most respects, the most important being speed, it is 4x faster which means you are much less likely to get pauses while watching films and generally everything works faster and better - maske sure you use 5Ghz WiFi if you can. Also the battery lasts longer, which is handy for me and twice as many devices can connect to it.
