The tough guy act, it’s so annoying
@megatron844910 күн бұрын
I'm a loner (most of the time), but the number of times I've been approached by someone pulling the tough guy act, trying to start a fight because I "look tough" and he needs to "assert dominance" over me. I'd much rather be left alone to write my stories in peace, stop trying to fight me, I prefer verbal arguments anyway, much more intellectual.

The only things that I can think of from personal experience is how you're supposed to like or do specific things simply because you're a man. I like to crochet animal plushies for instance as something that's regarded as not typically masculine. It's just things I like to do. Why should it matter to me what you think is (not) masculine enough? Sure, if you do not like something then there's no problem in that, but if one feels their masculinity is under attack simply because you enjoy certain things then one should ask themselves how brittle their masculinity or ego is to feel threatened by that.

I’m ngl, I always get pissed off whenever women just assume a guy is “flirting with her” or “he’s a creep”. But with the amount of genuine creeps out there, I can’t say I blame them.

I have never once been accused of being a creep. Not once. I was overly cautious with women. I found my wife and I've been married for 11 years. I was never aggressive, I was never pushy, and I didn't observe a lot of men being that way who were introverted. Only a small percentage of extroverted men whom I could tell were like that from miles away... and crazily enough... the creepiest guys I observed... the women were literally THROWING themselves at them... because they were conventionally attractive. The guys who got called creeps the most only acted about half as creepy as the attractive creepy guys did, but they were not as attractive, so they got it much worse. I also observed was a lot of simping and exaggerating from other men. They would exaggerate problems women had with other men, a guy I knew once brushed a lady's arm on accident, the lady turned around and said "ew", and her boyfriend stood up real fast and got in front of the guy trying to intimidate him. The worst thing in that interaction in my opinion is the lady who said "ew." She did that on purpose to hurt someone she didn't even know. I hate how guys fall for that crap so quickly. Like... dude, you should have a discussion about her attempt to get you to hurt another man in a manipulative way, you should not be attacking the poor dude who accidentally brushed her arm. The claims of creepiness in this post are everywhere, but if you look at who's being a creep, it's a very small percentage of men... and a lot of times, women are exaggerating or outright lying and men just believe them - no questions asked. Not saying creeps don't exist, they do, but they are not nearly as common of an issue as they are made out to be. Drives me nuts how many men just believe whatever women tell them. The other thing I don't like is the amount of self-defeat men have these days. It's warranted somewhat because society sucks, but some men won't even come out of their rooms. They defeat themselves before even trying and let depression just win. It's sad, but also, self-inflicted. There's a balance between believing all women all of the time in order to earn simp merit badges and never trusting anyone to the point that you isolate yourself from society. I have no idea why that balance is hard to find but men seem to struggle with it. I'm by proxy isolated because I have a healthy and happy home life and self-belief. Sucks to be the only man I know with a family at age 33. I'm not a simp and I'm not a shut-in loser. This wasn't hard to accomplish and I'm not really that attractive, but it did happen because of my own effort. I'm pretty frustrated with people saying it's because I'm lucky. I struggled too. Often longer and harder than most. That all gets brushed aside so men can keep defeating themselves or simping for a woman they will never have. They are advice-avoidant and refuse to grow as people more often than not.

Well according to my brothers, they hate it when another guy messes up the shared bathroom and/or hotel room when they’re on road trips or something such as that. My twin brother went with me to summer camp, and he lamented how some of the guys in his bunk could make a real mess out of a bathroom.

9:47 what a shitty straw man, finding someone attractive isn't "falling in love", this is a stupid extrapolation, besides yes you could find your soulmate anywhere that's why it literally happens when women are open to this. They don't have to, but that's what it takes most of the time and surprise when they try, it works out...
