Rubs are an important part of scouting, and can clearly let you know that a buck is in the area, but are often sporadic and don’t offer the draw that scrapes do. I feel that scrapes and scrape lines are a better indicator of travel and offer a higher odds hunting opportunity.

Deer normally dont return to a rub but deer urinate on scrapes so other deer will smell go to it and urinate on it as well

Did you know that every area across the US and Canada show deer with prion diseases. Except somehow in certain patches it doesn't appear, although every area all around it does. I bet you guessed where its missing, big hunting locations, how strange. Mad cow is a prion disease FYI. Happy hunting.
