Good old days when all London kids, black white whatever, had that London accent

People still have a London accent it's just things change over time. You can still find people talk on this Cockley accent in East London. Remember You wouldn't even of been able to understand someone 200 years ago in London

@@jordanhtiffirg1990 you'd struggle to find it, this one just on the streets. Its now a weird cum bucket of hybrids and god knows whats. Point is there isn't a general accent like there used to be. Did you grow up in London in 70s 80s etc?

For some it was simply an affectation as many ethnic kids just tried to fit in.

My experience of school was terrible I was a 70s 80s school kid I had dyslexia dyspraxia undiagnosed ADHD I ended up with borderline personality disorder my exam results were ungradable school crushed anything in me the teachers were terrible sadistic bullies they dished out forced control

I went to a very posh grammar school at the same time as you michael. The teachers at my school were equally fucking awful. They seemed to think of us "pupils" as burdens. Wanna hug? Need a hug? Well, you're getting one anyway. *HUG*

It’s weird how some young people in the past look really old for their age… Even sound it too.

other people aren't much like you imagine try growing up in britain in the 1970s, then deal with arizona or los angeles gang life. the first time you see a bunch of dudes all doing the same chick then you find out about what the ma5on kids do

I’ve heard it is just psychological but I’ve also heard that people are just generally better and younger looking now than they were probably because of natural selection but also better skincare products like sunblock which stops people from turning their skin into leather by the age of 25. Could be all the chemicals in the water though. 😄

@@noelmcauliffe Sourf East London for me 😉 Jackie Stokes came to a school disco one time with so much hair lacquer in her past-the-shoulder length wavy blonde hair that her hair didn't move when she turned her head.
