Y’all have the only correct reaction to the song in this ep - it slapped! And I totally agree, it’s just cheesy enough but never tips over into too much. The ballad scene felt inspiring and like they’re all genuinely connecting with each other instead of just silly or even hokey. It’s a really fine line to walk and they’re doing it brilliantly. I’m loving this show!!

Lilia (the older one played by Patti LuPone) jumps through time and doesn't have control over it. That's why she says half of a sentence in one episode, and the other half in another. It will be awesome once we see how it works chronologically when it gets to Lilia's trial. The color of the leaves when they leave each trial tells you which one is next. Episode 2 ended with pink leaves and Jennifer's trial was episode 3. Ep 3 ended with RED and Orange leaves, and now episode 4 is the fire trial of Alice. The end of this one has purple leaves, which is Agatha's color.

Good question. In this ep, she seemed more on board with the trial (maybe because she wanted to sing lol). But to me it reads like avoidance of pain? Like she knew in ep 3 whatever she was gonna go through with the wine would be Bad, so she wanted to avoid it as long as possible. Also, she never really wanted to go on the Road, she wanted to steal everyone’s power and dip. But now she ended up on the Road with everyone because she had to run away from the Salem Seven. So idk she’s just changeable. But it’s fun to try to figure out!
