This was super helpful, and YES, I said “no Lisa, it’s $6000” LOL a tiny mistake can become a pattern of behavior and eventually a big dang mess! Lord, help us to examine our motives!

First, thank you Lisa, Joel & Jim for providing these insightful podcasts that as Jim says, "gently" draw us back in alignment to God's Word & that help guide us to dig deeper as to why we settle for lesser things. We need this & therapy & theology has helped me more than you know but, God knows & HE will continue to Bless this ministry that is so unselfishly provided for those of us that want 'LIFE' & life to the full!! Thank you Jesus!!

I have been struggling with feeling fulfilled in life and lately God has been revealing themes such as this that, ultimately fulfillment in life is found in communion with Him. I’m not sure how to live that out all the way just yet but when I’m feeling so focused and bogged down but my own selfish ambition or life not going as planned for MY own gain…I’ve began to turn to His word and He reminds me that that stuff will always leave you feeling empty Shelby. True fulfillment is found in Him. I’m trying to live that out as a nurse, a mom and all the other roles. Please pray for me. Thank you m.

Become at home in His (Abba Father and Adonai, Lord) LOVE! My prayer for you is that which was taught by Jesus Himself - Matthew 6: 9-13. I join my faith with yours that God will hear from Heaven and give you the desires of your heart❤

I love these podcasts, and appreciate that you are sharing you knowledge. Please address this one phrase that I've heard repeatedly from the therapist..."if it's hysterical it's hystorical" Hysterical comes from the medical Latin word hystericus, which described a female neurotic condition, thought to be caused by a dysfunction of the uterus. Hysterical is still used today by psychiatrists, though in a broader way, to describe someone suffering from a psychological stress condition. I believe it's condescending to women. Thanks for hearing me

Great video. I want life with the joy of serving Jesus. However, I’ve battled depression for almost a decade and it makes me useless in God’s kingdom. Lord please heal me of this so I don’t turn to the flesh
