Hi Don, I’m from the African islands of Sao Tome e Principe, the guitar sound from the band Africa Negra it’s very similar to soukouss, I have recently started learning guitar and this type of sound is the one that I want to master the most, so it would be nice if u put out tutorials on how to play, very important to include which pedals and amps to use and how to use them to achieve this unique African sound! Please do this for us the guitarists, we would appreciate, cheers from the UK

I like TPOK Rhumba, if you haven't done it already, I'd like a similar video like you did for "Mario", for the song - Ofela by TPOK with Madilu System (RIP) on lead vocals. Solo, Rhythm guitars.

You make could brodern your African musical horizons by looking into som of the music of East Africa such as Kenya/Uganda of coarse that of Zimbabwe a country of whos music has inspired and influenced much of the music that comes out of Southern Africa... Sungra, Jit, simankimanji, kanindo, chimurenga, Tuku are all out of Zimbabwe.

Hi Don, it’s around a year or two I discovered you channel and your reprises of great rumbas and soukouss songs. I really like and enjoy watching you play those. So, to follow your ideas, I’d say all four. But most of all, try to learn a song from a kenyan group called Les Wanyika and their popular song Sina Makosa. If I read well they used to tour in Kenya and Tanzania in the 80’s/90’s, if I’m not wrong. I love this song, and their choirs are so beautiful. I think you’ll really enjoy their guitar play. Good continuation, and thanks you ! Julien
