i work in a hotel & let me tell yall, even the nice ones can get infested QUICK. all it takes is one person. I brought them home 2 yr ago from a previous hotel i worked at and it was devastating to say the least. always keep a clean change of clothes in your car & when you check out, change in the bathroom and double bag your clothes. i always recommended buying the $5 walmart pillows & throwing them away after. shower & do laundry immediately when you get home. also, dont sleep with that thick comforter bc they usually dont get washed between guests…

We stayed at a hotel in Jackson, Mississippi that had them. I got completely eat up, with the added bonus of being allergic. Had to go to a doc in the box and got three shots (benedryl, antibiotic & other). The management didnt even bother to comp our room. I may have permanent scars from the bites. Needless to say if they don't make things right, we will have to get a lawyer.

I always get bitten by nasty bed bugs. Some of them literally bite a tiny piece of my flesh off. They do leave dark scars on body but it does fades away with time. Mine did. But it will take a year or two. One remedy which I do is applying nice thick layer of vicks vapour rub on the bite till it stops stinging. Vicks has camphor and eucalyptus oil which soothes the itching. Avoid scratching it at all cost.
